With the 75th Anniversary set comming out for DC heroclix, I was wondering if you guys at NECA could make a heroclix figure of Christopher Reeve as Superman.

I know I am probably one of many who would want to have that figure.
And I know that their may be some licencing issues with Warner Brothers but come on, heroclix made the Halle Berry Catwoman, (and that move wasn't a Million times as good a Superman was!)

And with Digital or regular sculpting that has gotten soo much better over the course of time, you guys could make a Kick A## looking figure!

examples of 3d Model of Chris Reeve as Superman:

Plus the creativity in dial making has come soo far, that you could make him probably the best Superman figure in the game, I would personally like to see him have a dial like this:

The Dial:
Trait Here For a Reason: When a friendly character within Superman's range is the target of an attack, Superman can move adjacent to the friendly character. If Superman is moved in this way, he is considered the target of the attack instead of the friendly character.

LE Superman
Team: Superman-Ally
Points: 198
Range: 8 :bolt:
Keywords: Metropolis, Reporter, Celebrity

Attack - Quick Change: Superman has Earthbound/Neutralized. When Superman is given an action, he takes 1 unavoidable damage at the beginning of your next turn.
Defense - Lack the Light to Show the Way: Superman can use Toughness and Willpower.
Damage - I Have All These Powers: Superman can use Force Blast, Psychic Blast, and Super Senses.

Look Ma... No Wires (Charge)
Fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way (Flurry)

Super Strength

Impervious to Harm (Impervoius)
Invulnerability

Mild Mannered Reporter (Perplex)
Forbidden to Interfere With Human History (Probability Controle)

So please Wizkids/NECA, would you put some serious consideration into making such a figure, heck, you could make it into a "Buy it By the Brick Figure", with proceeds going to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

How about it, wanna give it a shot?

I'll say what I always say about it:

1. It needs to be made.

2. It needs to be a charity fig

3. Proceeds need to go to the Christopher Reeve Foundation

That's it.

Because of the title of this thread, I was reminded of something that I saw on ebay around the time that Hypertime came out. (I am probably going to hell for bringing this up, But!)
Someone had made a Christopher Reeve Superman custom that they were selling.
The top half was the waist up of Superman from Hypertime, the bottom half was Professor X from Infinity Challenge.
Wrong..............

Funny, but Wrong!!

I know right! When I saw that youtuve video, I nearly cried for how emotionally epic it was. Thats when I knew a heroclix piece modeled after him would totally be awe inspiring.

Whenever i look at a super man comic, i think of chris reeve...it was actually a little eerie that the actor who played him in return looks like him...well a younger version

If they made this available like they did the Man of Steel or Halle Berry. . . Yeah. I'd get that. :)
