I am new to the game of heroclix and was wondering if anyone had a good dr doom team. Any force list and the stratagies that go along with them would be helpful. Thnx
I have had great success with Doom in a 300pt. game using the following team.
V Dr. Doom 198
V Doombot 38pt.
E Vulture 20pt.
R Intergang Medic 20pt.
R Hydra Medic 12pt.
R S.H.I.E.L.D. Medic 12pt.
The best strategy with Doom is to have him be able to taxi(using Running Shot of course) and be taxied by Doombot, this way he can Mastermind damage onto Doombot and also use the Doom team ability to add lots of bonus to both figures(such as Superman Enemy, Shield, Hydra, Syndicate, Defenders, etc.). Of course what makes Dr. Doom a playable high point figure is his dual EE attack, so make sure you have at least one S.H.I.E.L.D. on the team, and characters with Enhancement are also a big help. Beyond that, it's best to just use what ever points you have left over on cheap characters that add team abilities which are helpful to Doom and Doombot.

V Dr. Doom 198
V Dr. Octopus 66
V SHIELD Sniper 18
V AIM Medic 17
Dr. Doom uses Running Shot and carries SHIELD Sniper.
Doc Ock provides Perplex at the beginning, then engages if he has to.
Dr. Doom will do 6 damage when he attacks (3 base, +1 for his Perplex, +1 for Doc Ock's Perplex, +1 for SHIELD)
Or Perplex Dr. Doom's attack up or the target's Defense down and do a two target energy explosion attack for 2+splash.

it doesnt have to be 300 pts, any size army is always helpful. You could post a 4,5,6, or maybe even a 700 pt. force 4 all i care. Thanks again

E Dr. Doom and V Sandman would make an interesting combination in a 300-point game (leaving little room left over), or V Doom in a higher-point game. Or V Doom and E Sandman.

Doom + Sandman
V Dr. Doom flies around with running shot, dumping any damage inflicted on him to Sandman, with his Invulnerability. Eventually, Dr. Doom flies up to an opponent, puts Sandman in base contact with the opposing fig, and Sandman ties him up with Plasticity. Sandman continues to pound on the opposing figure, and Dr. Doom can still blast away from a range of 2.

Controller is a relatively inexpensive fig that "Hulks Up"
Dr. Doom + V Quicksilver
V Quicksilver is good for blocking LOS to avoid outwitters, and is also shockingly nasty when perplexed.
Dr.Doom + Taxi
No real surprise here. Bonus points for using Blastaar.
Dr.Doom + E Boomerang
Synister Syndicate for multi-arrow incapacitate or energy explosion.

Dr. Doom + Blastaar
Shrug damage onto Blastaar to get him in his sweet click then your opponent is caught off guard by the now 2 tough as nails to hit baddies.
I usually have great success with Dr. Doom here's the team I used last night in a 4 way mixed friendly 500 pt game.
Vet Dr. Doom
Darkseid
Vet Nightwing
exp Booster Gold
exp Black Cat
exp Lackey
Doom just pretty much carried around the lackey and whenever someone hit him, which was pretty rare, the lackey took the damage.
