Depends if the bases are different colors or not. Daredevil looks like his base is a different color.
Where did you get this information about ultimate Green Goblin anyway????

if spiderman was AA with Hobgoblin and Greengoblin, than it would make more sense than the DD/Hand Ninja/Bulseye. The Greengoblin and Hobgoblin have hated each other, so that would make sense, but the whole DD/Hand ninja/bulseye thing makes no sense. It would be the cheapest thing also, you could see a DD on the board, for what, like 50 pts, and you field a hand ninja, which is probably gonna be like 17 pts. and finish off DD for 100 pts cuz of the AA. I dunno, The spidey AA sounds fair, but the DD AA thing sounds a little cheap.

I had wondered about that. Hobgoblin was never really Spideys ARCH enemy. Its ALWAYS been Green Goblin.
Even Venom, who has always been a bad villan for spidey to go up against, wasnt as much of an enemy as Green Goblin. Venom and Spidey have come to terms. GG and Spidey, the Ozborne family and Peter Parker, have always been going ta it. I think the Arch Enemy dials should be saved for REAL arch enemys. Cap America and Red Skull, Batman and Joker, Wolvie and Sabertooth, Spidey and Green Goblin.
People who WOULD NEVER work together, under ANY circumstance.
I really dissagree with Magneto and Prof X having arch enemy dials. They are both on the same side. They have worked together many times, and have even been known to share a smile a time or two.

I thought Typhoid Mary (if they ever make one) would be the perfect AE for DD.
Man, when I read the subject of this thread, I got my hopes up thinking Spidey and DD would be archenemies of each other.

You also have to take into account that there have been a number of different Hobgoblins and the one we currently have is the weakest of them all.
Even though it prolly wasn't planned out this far in advance it would seem to work like this. Spidey & GG are AE's for obvious reasons. And GG HATES Hobby because he stole the technology & Goblin formula(without the side effect) so they're gonig to be AE's. Spidey & Hobby just happen to end up as AE's.
Though it's more likely that in the first set they needed a Spidey villian to be his AE since most all of the big names(Spidey, DD, Bats, Supes, Wolvie, Flash) have an AE.
But as for Bullseye & Hand. They have hired him in the past, to kill Elektra specifically, so I don't think they would be AE's. Unless he royally messed them over in a deal. But as recent as 98' he was being trained by them.

I dont think Hand Ninja will be DD's new AE
Prolly a new kingpin or even no new AE
I think in the boosters they will have a sheet of paper[like they did in CT], explaining the new AE system...and who is actually AE with who[so that hob and GG wont be AE with eachother].

Why do you think there will be a new AE system? I haven't read that anywhere.

I'm betting DD's AE in XP will be the Unique Elektra. If she IS the Elektra from Elektra: Assassin, then she was definitely DD's arch-nemesis at that point (love hurts!)

I think the R/E/V bases also need to reflect that. While I disagree about Venom not being Spider-Man's Arch Enemy, as stated by MrHappyJetPack, I do think his E version shouldn't (and should have the Spider-Man Team ability). The R and V versions should, without a doubt in my mind, be arch enemies with Spidey.

Absolutely not. She's TRIPLE his points! It's the Hand.

Yes, venom and Spidey hate each other, but my point was that Arch Enemies should be saved for the true number one enemy of a person.

You could argue that Venom was not spidey's arech enemy, but for most of his existence Venom has though of nothing but eating Spiderman's brains. I don't think that you can get much more arch-enemy than that.

Exactly! And if I had to vote for Spidey's #1 arch enemy, my vote would be going to Venom. While Green Goblin is nothing to sneeze at, he would have been #1 if he hadn't died, came back, died, came back, etc. etc. etc.
And a continuous return from the dead heavily outweighs being a Lethal Protector (who still hated Spidey!).
I do not thimk that dd will be aa w/ the hand because does that mean that you cannot have more than one hand person on your team???

I'm pretty sure the rumoured Typhoid Mary will be the arch-enemy of Daredevil, not the Hand generics that are rumoured.

On the one hand, although I never liked the character of Venom and never felt like he "Fit" in with the rest of the Spider-man stories, I think he's a better choice for arch-enemy than Hobgoblin. He does symbolize the late eighties/early nineties grim 'n gritty Spider-man stories.
But a better choice than the Green Goblin? Nuh-uh.
Couple o' reasons:
First of all, Venom debuted in '89, making him thirteen years old. He wasn't around in the early Spidey stories. And the first ten years of Spider-man, written by Stan Lee, set the template for what Spider-man is. Even today, most writers and fans consider those old Lee/Romita/Ditko the purest and most exuberant Spidey stories ever. To call Venom Spidey's primary enemy is to ignore the stories that gave birth to Spidey, defined what he stands for... And, oh yeah, sold about ten times the number of copies that todays Spider-man sold. (And people read 'em, too, instead of storing them in Mylar bags and sending them off to the CGC.)
Second, Green Goblin has had more of an impact on Spider-man's life than Venom. In fact, the presence of the Goblin affected pretty much every facet of Spidey's life for YEARS. Not only did Greeny off the Web-head's gal-friend, not only was Green Goblin the only enemy who could strike at Spidey in his secret identity, (Until David Michelline stole this idea for the Venom stories, of course) But the Green Goblin drove Spidey apart from his best friend, Harry Osborn.
Venom affected Spider-man's life by... er... dressing in his hand-me-down costume. *NOT* as impressive or influential, if'n you ask me.

yeah i agree with Spookythecat . Green Goblin has made more of an imapact on spidey than any super villian. although venom has bugged spidey he hasn't really messed around with spideys life how Green Goblin has.
Also, Venom isn't green, like the rest of Spider-man's enemies.
