Well, someone is trying to sell their Nightmare to me, and iwas wonderin if people would trade me for some U's i want. NOT ON THIS SIGHT I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF I COULD GET SOME TRADES?

He's a unique, from the original IC set, which means he could be obtained, on the average, in one of every 96 booster packs.

He's no Thanos, but he's not worthless, either. You'd have to make me a heck of a deal in nons before I'd be tempted. I'd probably wanna hold out for a decent unique.

Nightmare is currantly going at around £12.00 - $18.00 on ebay.
One went today for £10.50 (about $15.00), so you did just fine.

of all the uniques i pull...i pulled 3 nightmares! Traded one for a unique wasp tho.

Nightmare makes a nice paperweight

8 bucks is reasonable. But he's not worth 18.

8.00 is fine. He's a good figure that can easily be the centerpiece of a strong team. Develop a strategy around him, and he will reward you. If you just drop him on the field and go charging in, he's still tough but not the best.

Paperweight? I respectfully disagree. As has been discussed on this site on many occasions, certain figures require more skill than others. Not to say you're not a skillful player...or that I AM for that matter. I've just had success with Nightmare. Give him a try...or three to learn his nuances. I think you'll be pleased.

p.s. $8 is a great deal.

while he does have nice stats and I've seen him used effectively on occassion, he's difficult to field in a 200 point team.. in a 300 point, and even in a 400 point.. and his arch nemesis, dr strange appears very often, while nightmare has a hard time KOing him

Plus having him mind controlled to turn on you is Really Really painful

As for the paperweight comment... he's heavy, has a low center of gravity, and is pretty tough to knock over :P
