Okay boys and girls, here we have ourselves a rather unique Rock Wars, focusing on songs from the TV Show, Glee. If youre unaware of what this is, sorry I ain't explaining it to you here :), but I can almost guarantee that if you listen to the songs provided within, you won't be disappointed.

As always, these songs will be pitted against one another, Match by Match, Round by Round, weeding them all out until they get to the FINAL MATCH, which will have our two favorite Glee songs face against one another to see which one emerges as Grand Champion of our latest Rock Wars!

As always, this TOC should be voted using a very simple criteria, which song do YOU like more, which do YOU feel you would rather listen to, and which would YOU say is ultimately more deserving to move on.

Pretty basic really. Songs are matched up, you all vote on the one you like more, the winner goes to the Next Round, and we do this over and over again until the Rounds are Over. I do ask that you all give objective opinions and votes here, listening to All songs and arguments here within this TOC with an open mind, beginning to end, and base your honest votes from that.

Hadn't noticed that. That's really surprising. Leaving on a Jet Plane must have gotten a lot of late votes. Though if it were going to lose, Jet Plane's a song I'm kind of okay with it losing to.

Don't blame DTM. He only cast one of the votes against Defying Gravity. Blame Reddyeddy? for picking the wrong random number. Then again, if DTM hadn't voted the way he had, it wouldn't have come to the tie-breaker. So, yeah, okay. Go ahead and blame DTM. :)

One of my biggest pet peeves for singers is when they leave the R of the end of every word, Rachel is horrible for this and to me it takes her from being very good to sounding a bit amateurish like little kids at recitals or rhianna. The other girl does this a bit as well but not 100 per cent of the time.

Don't Rain On my parade - amazing. Simply amazing.

Stunned that Leaving on a jet plane beat defying Gravity and Leaving On a Jet Plane wasn't even on the aired pilot no it is on any of the CDs.

Simply stunned....actually, not stunned - the broadway songs are not getting any love in this TOC.

Hey hey, I liked Defying Gravity just fine, quite a bit in fact, but it wasnt one of my favorites for this TOC or from the show. Am I a bit suprised it Tied (and then lost) to Leaving On A Jet Plane, yeah kinda, but I liked LOAJP quite a bit as well, and would have been fine with either song going thru to Round 2.

QFT. I totally agree with the leaving off of R at the end of words. Used to be that music teachers had to teach diction as well, but in some cases they'd opt for the song to sound better for a particular voice. That's what I think happened here. She was singing DRoMP for the tone she needed in lieu of proper diction. I gave her a pass on it because i favored the tone she was achieving.

That other song had some charm as well, but the old-school broadway style lyrics were so refreshing when lined up against the other songs in the Glee competition.
