Got 3rd place with this team, best day of my clixing career

Went to a 500pt unrestricted tournament today and took 3rd place winning an LE Bruce Wayne from the new set, this is the first time I ever placed high enough in a tournament to win anything and I've been playing since Avengers came out.

My team was

Lamppost Batman (120pts)
+Protected (8pts)
+Lunge (5pts)
+ Life Model Decoy (12pts)

LE Ray Palmer (58pts)

Hawkman/Atom (120pts)

Crisis Green Arrow (104pts)
+Elite Sniper (20pts)

Exp Red Tornado (53pts)

The judged counted my team as a Justice League of America theme team even though Batman only had the JLA keyword, giving me a +5 to my roll for map picking (I got to pick the map all 3 rounds) and 2 team probs

1st Round: Faced off against a mixed asgardian/robot team taking out the entire team and only losing Batman and Hawk/Atom

2nd Round: I epic failed losing my entire force to a detective team centered around Batman/Green Arrow duo and not taking out a single one of my opponent's figs

3rd Round: Faced off against a Green Lantern theme team took out his whole team losing only my Green Arrow in the process.

ended the tourney with 988pts (my 1st and 3rd round opponents didn't use all the available points) and taking 3rd place winning a fig for the first time ever. I'm still stoked!!!!

The first big win is always the best feeling. My first big win was during the Marvel Ultimates set, when the Mysterio Level 6 LE was the prize; I won that puppy even with people using their Ultimates stuff they got from the pre-release the days before. I know the Mysterio wasn't that great, but that see-through head was pimp. Once you win one, it becomes easier to win more; you get confident and believe you can do it...like the little engine that could.

I remember my first tournament placing. I remember saying how weird it was to actually have a choice in prizes. It was between LE Emil Blonsky and LE Selina Kyle. I chose Selina which I still have to this day just because it was my first tournament win (I got First Place that day).
