Help me use the Red Lantern Special Object

RAGE: Light Object, Continual: Characters within 4 squares of this object that can use Battle Fury modify their damage values by +1

After a quick search through the units section, most of the characters with Battle Fury, either have Blades/Claws, which makes the +1 damage a bit superfluous...

or a lot of the figs have very poor attack values and would rarely benefit from the increased damage.

So who would you suggest to build a team around that would benefit from the Red Lantern...

Are there any figs that have Special powers with Battle Fury, as the search function doesn't catch those. I know Thor & Loki get it for a few clicks mid-dial...

Any help would be appreciated

What point level?
Constructed or Unrestricted?


Maestro, Ult. Hulk, E Juggernaut FF, V Marrina (all have BF down the dial)
Strong Guy (gets BF late, but he is nasty late dial already)
King Hyperion (see Strong Guy)
Statesman (another one with BF down the dial, other than the last click)
Black Adam (BF + HHS on click 2)
V Mon el (BF + HSS on click 1!)

and my favorite...
Devil Dino/MoonBoy (loads of BF and BCF, but +1 Dmg to duo attack is great)

The tough part is finding someone to lug the lantern around.

Misty Knight is the cheapest and will work on any keyword team, but is retired.

Legal until Blackest Night starter is released is the E Skrull Warrior at 30. After it is released it will be Moon Knight (the other Knight) at 38. They have stealth which is nice so at least they have to be based or busted, but my favorite is Pip the Troll at 42 because he also has phasing/teleport. He can get behind nearby walls or barriers and can breakaway for free.

edit: R Shiar is actually only 27 and has it along with l/c for a couple of clicks. Sunspot is also 38 and has both ss and wp for a number of clicks, but they along with the mentioned E Skrull will be retired soon. Patriot is also only 38, but I still like Pip best

DD&MB was who I planned on using first with it, probably with an animal team (kraven the spider & some other figs with blades for 600 pts)

I do like Ult. Hulk... and having at least 5 natural damage for 9 clicks (if he stays around the object) would just be too much fun.

I'll also look into Juggs & Strong Guy. Maybe M'onel on a Legion Team, I think they a couple of the LoSH Starter figs also have BF.

i dont have Congorilla! but a pog with Super Strength would be great to carry it around....

Another (more expensive) way to carry the item is rampaging hulk. He has super strength on his starting click, but his SP lets him move full speed then quake, so the item does not get used.

I'll stick with just Modern Age here:

Crisis:
Mammoth- End dial is Flurry with 3Dam, which can be a total of 8Dam.
Black Adam- Easily the most Obvious. And he's already doing 5 Damage.

Justice League

Granny Goodness- With all the new Apokolips figs people will see her more.

Wonder Woman- This Rare is great. Always hated that starting BF, but now she can really bring the pain.

Hammer of Thor

Gorilla-Man
Venom- Ok, this figure is just too good already, +1 Dam with Flurry is icing.

Mutations and Monsters

Strong Guy- This is one figure you want on the back-end of his dial. Paired with SS he's dealing 7+ dam.
Brood - I'm biased on this figure since they've won me a few tourneys.
Devil Dinosaur and Moon Boy- I know they have a lot of BCF, but those first two clicks have 4 Dam.
Maestro- He will tear it up with his 12AV.
