Batman vs Spider-Man.

Am I the ONLY one who thinks that, when using appropriately matched versions, this would be one HECK of a fight? I've been trying to get my hands on a unique spidey to pit against my unique batman, but I've come to realize this is just stupid. The two aren't right for the fight. Experienced versus experienced or Rookie Batman against Experienced Spider-man. MAN what A BATTLE!! I MUST see this. I am GOING to buy a rookie Batman. End of story.

It would be pretty neat, im a Spider-fan myself. The U Spidey would probably get his butt kicked by just about any batman. His defense drops like this

18, 16, 14, 12, cant remember the rest, but after the first hit, its pretty much all downhill from there. With Batmans high damage and then his CCE, Spidey would be in for a royal pounding I think.

Unfortunately, with the amount of damage Batman does, I'm afraid Spiderman is not going to last long. The range, and Willpower, will have Spiderman too far down before he gets close enough to hit Bats.:(

Well the fight in clix would be quick the fight in the comics is great, its always good watching Batman go toe to toe with Spidey total serious all business Bats trying to maintain a calm cool head while Spidey makes jokes about his costume and demeanor, in the end they never really fight they just spar and have to join forces.

Spidey's defense drops way too fast. A major flaw with all of his clicks. He really should keep a high defense throughout his dial.

USAgent, you sound like you've read a couple such fights. Any pointers on what comics I should be searching for to see these fights? Preferably graphic novels, but individual issues would be great too. I know it's not HC related, but just this once? i REALLY want to see this fight!!

How many times has Batman appeared in comics with Spiderman? I only really remember the one Batman/Spiderman comic, came out a few years ago, when they fought Joker and Carnage. Dont really remember them going at it in there though.

Spidey and Bats have appeared together in two Spiderman batman crossovers I believe (one marvel, one DC) and in the post amalgalm universe mini series Access.

Well, in HC terms, its not all too easy for Batman to even hit Spiderman. With Bats 9 AV and Spideys 18 DV, he needs a 9 or better, which aint easy. Spiderman, on the other hand, has a 12 AV, against Batmans 16 DV, its almost a given hes going to hit. And with no body armor on either of them, every click counts. Spiderman could take him I think more often than not, just due to their greatly differing fighting stats alone. BUT Batman has the dreaded 3 Damage, dont ask me why, and he has a whole list of cool powers, alot of which Spiderman has, alot he doesnt. All in all I see a really good fight, but to keep it close, Spideys got to bring the fight to Bats, and not let up.

Unless Batman gets a really lucky roll, Spiderman should easily win since his defense is so high.
