I made a thread earlier about using Black Lanterns, but I just found out we are playing for the Yellow Lantern Object. The format is 800 points Unrestricted with No cardboard(feats, bystanders, BFCs)
I am torn between 3 variations of the same basic team.
Team 1:
Crisis Sinestro=146
Superboy Prime=318
Arkillo=126
Lyssa Drak=72
Yellow Lantern x2=130
=792
Team 2:
Crisis Sinestro=146
Superboy Prime=318
Arkillo=126
Lyssa Drak=72
Yellow Lantern=65
AA Manhunter=64
=791
Team 3:
Crisis Sinestro=146
Superboy Prime=318
Grodd=161
Lyssa Drak=72
Yellow Lantern=65
=762
I am looking for pushes in the right direction. Help is much appreciated.

If you are dead set on using Superman Prime, then I would suggest going with the following:
(CR) Sinestro
(AA) Lyssa Drak
(AA) Arkillo
(AA) Superman Prime
(AA) Manhunter x2
If your venue is okay with your printing out the rules for the yellow lantern, you might want to include it here as you would still be five points under the build maximum (Be sure to have a stand-in for the object). Even needing to move it with TK or carried by Super-Strength it would be a very worthwhile addition to the army. You may wish to have Superman Prime carry it to capitalize on his hypersonic speed. He can move, shoot (Note it must be used as part of a close combat attack), reposition so that Arkillo and Sinestro can then attack or move and attack in to range of the lantern to gain the bonus on their attack rolls.
Without feats, your outwit can go a long way toward shutting down your opponent's game plan. Sure you cannot outwit defensive powers, but the team has a power set that compensates for this "Shortcoming" very nicely. Both Sinestro and Lyssa have perplex to increase damage values to deal with powers like toughness and invulnerability, or to increase attack/speed/range values of the figures that can bypass impervious (Sinestro and Arkillo). By outwitting your opponent's move and attack, duo, indomitable, and especially their own outwit powers you will save your team a lot of damage and frustration. While I agree that Superman Prime is fearsome in a stand-up fight, I suspect your fellow competitors are likely to pack some outwit of their own. One use of outwit on him and it could be lights out very quickly, which is why I would advise the two Manhunters over Yellow Lantern and a single Manhunter.
The Manhunter stats don't drop so far as to never be useful, especially with multiple perplexes available, and each has that nifty steal energy (At range too) special that can help them stick around to pester your opponent for another turn or two.
You might also consider running the following team:
(CR) Sinestro
(AA) Lyssa Drak
(AA) Arkillo
(AA) Amon Sur
(AA) Yellow Lantern
(AA) Manhunter x5
799 total btw.
This team is a bit less forgiving on you when determining your movements each turn, but the sheer amount of outwit can drag your opponent's army to a halt and allow you to pick it apart piecemeal.
One pro for the team including Superman Prime is that if you face a team utilizing stealth, you have a highly mobile piece that already has terrific stats. It's a tough decision and you should really consider the typical build styles that you run across at the venue.
DoctorImpossible.
I'd go with team two but drop the Man Hunter and get Amon Sur you have pleanty of outwit

Amon sur? Really? I can't see him being that good, with his low AV, DV, and short dial. Perhaps you could give me a general idea of how to use him?
Only way I can see him being good is tar targeting 2 groups of multiple people with Energy explosion, but then I come back to the Yellow Lantern who can do that with better DV and Defend to boot.
he's a perplex tie up piece amon sur or man hunter either one is bad.........Two yellow lanterns would work but the extra perplex is nice.

So the Manhunter and his gimped Outwit isn't useful? I never had a chance to use him in the sort of scenario so I don't have prior knowledge.

I would hesitate to play SBP without fortitude. That's a lot of points to give up...
The manhunter outwit is useful.

BTW only team 2 is theme. You need at least 6 characters to be a theme team.
Do you have access to Sinestro Corp Batman or any of the Keyword Sinestros?

Really, I need 6 pieces with the same keyword to be a theme? I wasn't aware of that.
I wish I had Sinestro Corps Batman, I should have him soon. As for The other Sinestros, most cost just as much and aren't half as good as the Crisis one.

I'd go for team two. Not only are they thematic but you have more support c/o outwit and 2x perplex. I'm not too sure about yellow lantern though since 18 def will fall easy against some of the other power figs that would probably make an appearance. It might just be better to have 2x manhunters instead. Outwit will be more important in this scenario than defend.
Oh and Legacy Vet Sinestro isn't bad at all. You have upfront outwit, 12 speed running shot AND 11 base attack, not to mention Invulnerabilty with 18 def. And he costs the same as Crisis Sinestro.

Sadly I only have Sinestro of Korugar and Legacy E Sinestro. Out of the 3 I really see Crisis Sinestro pulling his weight. Seems like Team 2 has the best options going for it, despite Manhunter's overall mediocrity he is the only one who can do this for the theme.

3D objects do not fall under the PnP, he can print out the rules but he can not have a stand in for the object.
I'd go with
Sinestro 146
SBP 318
Lyssa 72
Arkillo 126
Manhunter 64
manhunter 64
Total 790
I'd kep Sinestro in the back using his range and useing perplex to help out Arkillo and SBP, use the manhunters to counter any outwit on the other team since this will be your biggest weakness, if there is no outwit then base any rangers first then any big hitters when the need arises.
Use Arkillos free barrier (try not to forget it, i always do :()
With this team you have
2 perplex
2 Outwit(limited)
3 Theme team Prob's

2 Manhunters? Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't have 1 YL be infinitely better then 2 Manhunters? I see 1 Manhunter and 1 YL being the most fruitful combination. I get a crappy outwit, a taxi for Drak, and an Incap.
YL is there to support, doing his Energy Explosion and SBP using his defense when needed.

I like them b/c they can stay around for a while with that ranged steal energy, and the outwit is very useful. it will help you against HSS and other outwits.
But each player has their own play style, go with what works for you.

By no means amazing, I do like the Manhunters and their OW. Important things they can still OW:
OW :)
Charge
Running Shot
HSS
Psychic Blast
all of which do a number on SBP.
