Limited Edition figures are usually prizes in tournaments. However some of them you can only get from participating in the marquee tournaments. For example, Benjamin Grimm was a fellowship prize at the marquee, and is very difficult to get. Most of the other Limited Edition figures are available on eBay, but they fetch a very hefty price for most.

You can find local sanctioned events (which should have prize support) by going to wizkidsgames.com clicking on events/tournaments and then 'find a tournament near me' and 'proximity search' Then just go to town!
