Can this be incorporated into the realms so that we can post a figure's dial by simply putting in the figure's code {for example, (gallery bb-figure-058)}?

Already been brought to our attention by supanate.

Thanks though.

wintre wasn't simply announcing its existence, Mac. He's asking that it be usable on the realms.

However, HCRealms already has an inline dial tag that lets you post the dial from the Units section directly into your post:

This...

aa036

Displays as this...

aa036

It would be nice if the inlinedial tag provided all of the character's information. I see no need to have both methods in place on the realms.

Woah...I never noticed that before. That has the hover info in it, too. Nice.

However - I'm greedy, and I want the NECA one with the photo attached. The HCRealms one is cleaner and smaller, but the NECA one has a purty pickchur.

Well, one more benefit (or argument) for having heroclix.com dials available here in the forums is for previews (when an upcoming set gets previewed, those dials will be available through our new tech).

That's a very good supporting argument. So, what will it take to be able to display your dials in our forum?

We were actually testing this with WizKids and helping them tune it for HCRealms. We had some questions about the code that never were answer; so we didn't implement it. But you're right; we have the inlinedial code here already. We'll probably look to put it in later; I just need to take a look at it again.

We did, but perhaps the messages were never received. Will try again.

Thanks; got it this time. Looking it over again and will deploy it soon.

Is there a script that would allow us to add this inline dial code to an XHTML document residing on an external server for use on either the internet or an intranet?

If you follow the instructions from the original link (which i'll post below), the script should work on any website. If used on an intranet website, it'll work fine if the end-user still has normal internet access. (Essentially, as long as your network doesn't have heroclix.com blocked, it'll work)
