Nova Blast and Indomitable

I have heard from several people that Indomitable avoids the pushing damage from Nova Blast.

Quoting from the card and the newest PAC

INDOMITABLE: This character can use Willpower.

NOVA BLAST: ... After resolving this action, the character takes 2 pushing damage that ignores Willpower and team abilities; remove this Nova Blast from the game.

If Indomitable grants willpower, which is ignored by Nova Blast, how does Indomitable avert the pushing damage.

I am specifically looking at characters such as the SR Ultron from HOT or Magus from SI.

Until the NEW PAC comes out Nova Blast will be ignored by Imdom...once the starter comes out its just will power....so no more Haymaker on Amanda "Big Mama" Waller.

Currently Indomitable does not grant Willpower, it merely says "this character does not take pushing damage", so it would ignore that effect of Nova Blast. The new rules will redefine Indom as granting Willpower, in which case the figure will no longer ignore that effect but that change won't occur until the Blackest Night starter is released.

also keep in mind for Golden Age- this will qualify for feats!

But yeah, i want to abuse it, but... nah. i have too much Skrull-Vell left to abuse. i havent even fielded multiples of her.

I liked using Ultron with Haymaker. Oh, -1 to only ELEVEN attack. Take 6 damage.
