Here is the best link for info on him:

Mandarin Biography (http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/m/mandarin.htm)

Hope that helps you out!

Well, from what I see there, there could be arguments made for

Incapacitate from the freeze ring

Outwit or Perplex because of his intelligence

Phasing for his teleportation

Energy Shield/Deflection for his forcefield.

His range would be a problem because he could have Mind control, but at a distance of only 10 feet thats like 1-2 squares. That would make his Incap pretty useless too without being nearly B2B.

It should be interesting to see how they write him up.

WITH THESE RINGS I THEE KILL! is a classic (awful) Mandarin story where he takes on the Inhumans. He remained an Iron Man foe most of the time, never quite the level of mastermind of Doc Doom, but still a fun guy. One of the versions should either have with the MOD or MOE team, but he was pretty much a lone wolf. Fu Manchu with some power rings and some deadly hand chops. The Essential Iron Man has many of Mandy's greatest hits, go buy it!

That bio is really a mess. It doesn't represent the way Mandarin is in the books, especially in modern continuity. Mandarin has superhuman strength in the old books. His ability to chop through Iron Man's armor has nothing to do with a force-field in the books. In the early books, it's because he has superhuman strength and is just that #### good. In modern continuity, it's because he has the power to pump chi into his punching power like Iron Fist. And that description of the rings doesn't do them justice either. He did things almost on the level of Silver Surfer during the Dragonseed Saga.
