Rogue in the Brotherhood ?

To make the rookie Rogue look a little different, I was considering removing the flying base (since she doesn't really fly), reposing her a bit, and repainting her to look more appropriate for belonging to the Brotherhood. The only problem is, I have never seen a comic from back then. Did she wear a different costume? Can anyone describe it? Or better yet, give a link to it?

If I remember, she had a green bodysuit with a white stripe in the middle. she also had short hair. Her Leather Jacket, off center belt from the Jim Lee days is her best outfit ever.

There's a great picture of her in this outfit on the cover of some lame issue of Dazzler (wait, they all were; and YES, she did have her own ongoing series that lasted 42 issues). Number twenty something, I think. She's punching Dazzler in the head, which is quite amusing.

That kercheif around her neck is actually her hood, which was the same color as teh darker green in her costume, with a light green margin about as wide as the line running down the front.

Her 1st appearance in this costume was probably one of my favourite comics ever, period: Avengers Annual #10

Thanks Puuka and S.Skrull for the image of Rogue. I too was
thinking of that conversion for the Rookie, but was putting it
off waiting for inspiration (and a decent pic!).

It's funny how she got totally worked over subsequent to her
joining the X-men. Actually, she was still dressed in that ugly
jumpsuit during the Secret Wars I (I beleive she had just
joined then). So you could make a case for converting the
Experienced version too.

Actually, none of those pictures accurately portray Rogue as a member of the Brotherhood. I've got Avengers Annual #10, the first appearance of Rogue, and while the green outfit is the same, her hair was very different, as was her face. When she was first created, Rogue was drawn as an older woman, around 40. Instead of having a white streak in her bangs, she had them above her ears like Reed Richards. It wasn't until she showed up at Xaviers doorstep in the pages of Uncanny X-Men seeking help that she suddenly became a young girl with a white streak down the middle.
