One of the people I regularly play with was lucky enough to get a night crawler in a booster pack. Since then he has insisted on using him almost everytime. Even when I take out the rest of his team, night crawler will thin the feild and win the game all by his hypersonic lonesome. What is the key to beating him? Or do I just suck horribly, and need to learn to play better?

if you can get him w/in range, you can outwit his hyperspeed. Barring that, you have to chase him down w/ either a taxi and fig w/ running shot or charge or a phaser is good on inside maps.

what makes night crawler so good? i havent played against one(obviously) so i just cant see it through his stats. yes hyper sonic speed is excellent, but is that what makes him?

He's good because he has an excellent attack, very high defense, and hypersonic speed which allows him to virtually take out weaker characters like medics quickly and efficiently.

Combined with a teammate with perplex, he can even hurt those with invulnerability. He's pretty awesome.

Usally you can barrier him in if you have a good barrier person like V Avalanche. Then you can go in for the kill.
The only problem is that he has a really high defence and super senses. Try to get someone with a high attack and someone with outwit.
Sometimes you can even outwit hypersonic speed.:)
