Hi all,
Here's a question for you. I know Outwit isn't technically an attack, but it leads to an interesting situation at times.
I had a character on a small 2X2 elevated rooftop last night, and my opponent moved his Outwitter to the rooftop as well, B2B with my guy. He then proceeded to Outwit someone else below him on the ground. Which suddenly got me to thinking: since you can't ranged-attack a distant enemy if you're based with *another* enemy, shouldn't Outwit work this way too? There doesn't seem to be anything in the rules that disallows this, but somehow it doesn't seem "right" that someone can use Outwit on a guy 10 squares away when there's a Solomon Grundy vet sitting next to him. :) I'm not a newbie, in fact I've been playing for a long time now, but that just struck me as weird last night...
Am I missing some obscure ruling, or is that indeed doable if not exactly right?
Thanks in advance...
