if i m standing on a chimney on a roof, can i still target characters with ranged combat, and vice versa? since i am ON the EBT, i am considered "on the edge" of blocking terrain, so the LOF is clear?

last thing, close combat only for L/C characters on chimney right?

wasnt one last thing after all, what kind of interaction do hovering/flying characters have with characters on chimneys?
I have to worry! Hope you can think in eight dimensions...
If you are standing on top of Elevated Blocking terrain on the Outdoor map....
Figures on top can still be targeted by Ranged Combat Actions (and vice vers).
Line of Fire is clear, but it is not considered to be 'On the edge' for the purposes of Line of Fire (like how a shooter on the roof has Line of Fire to anyone within his Range on the ground, but not vice versa).
I hope this makes sense...
Leap/Climb ability to attack does not work here....
As both the Elevated Blocking Terrain is considered the exact same elevation as regular Elevated terrain (L/C only works between elevations when attacking)
Hover/Soaring interaction.... Not sure what you mean here?
Figures on Elevated Blocking Terrain are NOT considered adjacent to opposing figures who are in a square next to them on Elevated terrain.

aha, i get it, if you re are on a chimney and there s a character right next to you, i could even ignore him and fire on someone else in the distance, the guy next to me couldnt even touch me via close range combat, only ranged combat, flying characters are out of the picture, hovering are to be treated as grounded characters, so yes i get it, thanks!

lancelot - sounds like you got it.
Just remember you can ignore adjacent figures on the roof but you can't fire over their heads like you could if you were firing to a ground target.
Intervening rooftop figures/terrain will affect LoF.
