What's with all the promotions? Most of these characters are from junior teams or obscure, and what makes them worthy of being a new class of justice league?


Why Kyle? Among all the other possible lantern recruits for a JLA, why him?

And I'm guessing this is current Black Canary? If so, why is there no ES/D, Combat Reflexes, or maybe even Super Senses? One click of toughness and then she's one giant glass jaw.

I prefer Donna and Connor to Diana and Clark; the latter two are tired and old. It feels more can be done with Red Arrow and Shining Knight too.

What makes anyone worthy of being in the JLA? They're all heroes which are great at fighting. If you never offer the fledgling a chance to fly, it will never leave the nest.

He's among the few GL whose character I like.

Her defense values are great (16's are what you want in life), so I didn't feel the need.

I agree with the other statements, but it's hardly justifiable that Kyle is a better character than the previous GLs.

Nor do I think Black Canary should be that easy to hit. There's even less-powerful, standard human-reflexes, characters who are harder to hit than her.

Why? She's indomitable, and good in close combat...

Bear in mind that when Canary attacks herself, she only needs 7 to hit a 16 defense. I can see what the others mean, she's not going to last long once people start hitting her.

The other thing that occurs to me is this, just as a suggestion:

:a-fist: Canary Cry: Black Canary can use Energy Explosion. When she does, all characters hit are automatically knocked back a number of squares equal to the damage dealt to the target character.
