JUNE 10
I could have sworn I made this list back in the day...
You know how this goes: Plain text - complete guess, Italics - strongly rumored, Bold - confirmed.
1. Rorschach
2. Silk Spectre II
3. Nite-Owl II
4. Ozymandius
5. Dr. Manhattan
6. The Comedian (w/flamethrower)
7. Hooded Justice (Golden Age)
8. Captain Metropolis
9. Comedian (Golden Age)
10. Silk Spectre I
11. Dr Manhattan (suit?)
12. Nite Owl II (Cold Weather gear)
13. Walter Kovacs (the end is nigh)
14. Mask Killer (?)
15. Bubastis (?)
16. Knot Top Leader
17. Knot-Top
18. Moloch the Mystic
19. Big Figure
20. Lawrence and Michael
21. Comedian and Nite Owl II
22. Silk Spectre II and Dr. Manhattan
23. Adrian Veidt/Bubastis (duo)
24. Nite Owl II and Rorschach
25. Intrinsic Field Experiment #15 Event (Dr. Manhattan exploding figure)
Mail-away? Con Exclusive? Dr. Manhattan (Colossal)
MUSH POT
Nite-Owl and dog (duo)
Eddie Blake (in dressing gown? Gimp mask?)
Silhouette (Golden Age)
Underboss
Screaming Skull
Captain Axis
Dollar Bill (Golden Age)
Mothman (Golden Age)
Nite-Owl (Golden Age)
I still can't believe they went whole-hog with 25 figures and representations of characters that barely even registered on a panel... but hey, more dials, so who am I to complain? :)

So do you think the Silhouette will have the lesbian keyword?
On a side note the bold / italics are not showing up.
Also walters sign should read "The end is neigh"

Also, the Doctor Manhattan colossal is supposed to be separate from the base 25.

I thought that Silk Specter II and the Comedian (modern costume) had already appeared somewhere online, hence are confirmed?
Also walters sign should read "The end is neigh"
You mean "The end is nigh".
"Neigh" is the sound a horse makes.
I suppose if you fear the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the end could very well be "neigh".

I think the figures that were on the poster can be safely assumed to be "confirmed". Plus we already know there will be two Doc Manhattans, but the colossal will be outside of the 25 figure set.

Also what do you mean by Nightowl and his dog?
Do you mean archie? His ship? The only dogs in the watchmen are the ones that Rorschach kills.

That's what I was thinking.
Bubastis is kinda like a dog. Maybe he meant Ozy and Buby...ok, I'm not using that nickname again...
EDIT: Whoops, was reading posts and not the actual list. I see Ozy/Bubastis are right below. Hmmm. Dunno what they mean about the dog either.

23. Adrian Veidt/Bubastis (duo)
Nope, he has ozzy and buby too.
Also, I think we have an inmate generic as well.

We've got confirmation of a few.
Rorschach - mask on and brown trench coat
Nite Owl - arms folded
Silk Specter II - martial arts defensive pose
Comedian - w/ Flamethrower
Dr Manhattan - crosslegged in front of the Mars base
Ozmandius - non-dynamic arms at sides pose
Here is yet another site with the promo poster to confirm these. http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NC70137
Dr Manhattan colossal has been confirmed as separate from the 25 peice collector's set. Let's replace that one with a President Richard Nixon figure.
Being as pre-orders were being requested at my shop a month ago, I'm really hoping they start giving us some amount of information. Half the figues for the same cost as a brick makes this a gambit, and given the history of sucky IndyClix dials, I'm skeptical if the collector's set will be playable for players, or strictly designed for the Collectors who want to leave it in the fancy packaging.
I believe the original Golden Age Nite-Owl, who was a police officer, had a dog. He didn't have a flying ship or anything, just his fists and MAYBE his dog. I'd have to dig out the book to be sure. Surprised it's on the list though!

I don't remember if this was shown in the movie (but was in the comic), but the "Golden Age" Nite Owl had a canine sidekick, with mask, seen in his final flashback during the knottop fight if I recall correctly.

How about Big Figure?
..."small world".. heh, classic

So do you think Dr. Manhattan will have his tiny wang hanging out in any of the sculpts?

There should be a Big Figure...and maybe a Top Knot Gang Leader.

love the idea of a 25 piece collector set but I think this one will ruin it for the more deserving ones. Age of Apocolypse or maybe a Lantern Corps would have sold much better than this

Lies! I am buying two boxes myself!

Viva la Indy clicks!!
Yes, the original Nite Owl had his dog as a sidekick. I believe Boneyard just put this up, so it's no wonder he hasn't added the bold text for the confirmed yet, but the Collossal Dr. Manhatten shouldn't be part of the 25 figure list.
So do you think Dr. Manhattan will have his tiny wang hanging out in any of the sculpts?
Confirmed to be a NO
Lies! I am buying two boxes myself!
I'll be buying a set myself, but at $99 a box, no way I'm getting 2.

roughly twice the per-figure cost of a booster.
i'm willing to give it until i see the dials, but i can't say this is making economic sense at the moment.

I just had a thought...
Perhaps the set break down could be this:
1. Nite-Owl II (movie costume)
2. Nite-Owl II (comic costume)
3. Comedian (movie costume)
4. Comdian (comic costume)
5. Rorschach (movie costume)
6. Rorschach (comic costume)
7. Silk Spectre II (movie costume)
8. Silk Spectre II (comic costume)
9. Dr. Manhattan (movie costume)
10. Dr. Manhattan (comic costume)
11. Nite-Owl (Golden age)
12. Silk Spectre (Golden age)
13. Comedian (Golden age)
14. Mothman (Golden age)
15. Captain Metropolis (Golden age)
16. Dollar Bill (Golden age)
17. Hooded Justice (Golden age)
18. Silouette (Golden age)
19. Moloch
20. Captain Axis
21. Screaming Skull
22. Big Figure
23. Underboss
24. Knot Top Leader
25. Bubastis
Looking at the box, perhaps the whole things is laid out like a Rorschach blot with the movie versions mirroring the comic versions...
Colossal figure Dr. Manhattan
Except, as has been mentioned, they don't have the rights to touch the comic books, just the movies.

I'm hoping to avoid the duos. Hopefully it's a couple of differant Dr Manhattans at differant power levels.
speedo Dr Manhattan on Mars, suit & tie Dr Manhattan, giant sized Dr Manhattan.
Breaking his dial into differant styles would prevent him from having to be some jacked up rainbow dial of utility powers that plays lousy for inflated points. Instead have a Ranged Combat focused one, a separate one with the Perplex/PC/Teleporty Transporter, another that is the TK focused with some sort of object destructing/creating thinger and plenty of barrier.
Streamlining his dial and reducing the points would make him more playable to me and increase the value of the set. See Superman 1million if you want an example of somebody with two many non-synergy powers inflating the cost to unplayability.
So do you think Dr. Manhattan will have his tiny wang hanging out in any of the sculpts?
That's a big 10 inch "no" from the people on high.

If you add very obvious Duo choices (Rorschach/Nite Owl II... they were partners.... Nite Owl II/Silk Spectre II... fought side-by-side in both comics and film), along with Alter Egos for the main Crimebusters (minus Dr. M), the set fills itself out without stretching for generics or characters that were only mentioned but not shown.
1) Dr. Manhattan
2) Nite-Owl II
3) Dan Dreiberg (AE)
4) Silk Spectre II
5) Laurie Jupiter (AE)
6) The Comedian
7) Edward Blake (AE)
8) Rorschach
9) Walter Kovacs (AE)
10) Ozymandias
11) Adrian Veidt (AE)
12) Moloch the Mystic
13) Big Figure
14) Nite-Owl I
15) Silk Spectre I
16) Hooded Justice
17) The Comedian (Minutemen costume)
18) Captain Metropolis
19) Dollar Bill
20) The Mothman
21) The Silhouette
22) Nite-Owl II/Rorschach Duo
23) Nite-Owl II/Silk Spectre II Duo
24) Ozymandias/Bubastis Duo
25) Not sure on this one. My personal want would be the Black Frieghter guy.

Looks like you can confirm a Big Figure, Top Knot (The one who killed Hollis), Stealth Ozymandias, and the Big Figure's henchmen. They were shown in the recent blogpost on the Wizkids website.

Isn't the guy he's holding up in the picture Molach?
And it was confirmed from the packaging that there will be 4 oversize figures. At least that's what the four slots that appear to allow for double bases would suggest.

I for one would happy if they did the 6 figure mega pack he mentioned. $99 for the set is kinda step for me :(

I'm hoping that these are invested in some larger sculpt figures like a giant sized Dr Manhattan, Archie Owl Ship, Dr Manhattan in huge Mars spikey gear machine, and a Squid Monster giant figure (even though that's not actually movie depicted).
What do I hate worse than peanut base figures? Duo figures. What do I hate worse than duo figures? Peanut base duo figures.

11 - Dr Manhattan (~~~~ ~~~~)
12 - Nite Owl II (Cold Weather ~~~~~)

Mask Killer probably refers to the stealth Ozymandias we saw a bit back.

will Comedian and Nite Owl II be with the ship?
CarlosMucha

for be a set with 25 figures it have very "few" characters.
I wonder if you can do equal teams between Villains and Heroes (I doubt it).
