Silly question regarding flying characters

This has probably been asked before, so sorry for the redundency. Can a flying character pick up a grounded figure who is adjacent to an opposing figure or is a break away needed. If so, by whom? Thanks for helping out a newbie.

2 simple rules to remember (well, one, but it pays to read it both ways):

If the character getting the Move Action is adjacent to an opposing figure, you need to roll break away.
And the converse: If a character getting the Move Action is not adjacent to any opposing figures, you never need to roll breakaway.

So for your question, it depends on where the flyer is. Who the passenger is next to is completely irrelevent and won't impact the flyer's movement at all.
