throwing sentry into the sun shouldn't do anything but incinerate his bones. marvel doesn't need to bring him back with thor back on the avengers, i'm pretty sure he'll stay dead.

Lian is deader, but she can come back as a Black Lantern. Where as the Sentry will open a portal through the sun (as he seems to be powered by them) and come out into another universe and commence to start spreading his void empowered infection which created the Zombie series to begin with! Mwuhahhaha! :devious:

Lian is deader folks. All that was missing was Green Arrow and Red Arrow finding her in the refridgerator.

DC+female supporting characters = more death and destruction than a level of Duke Nukem 3d.

Both deaths were terrible. The difference is that Lian should never have been killed and Sentry should never have existed in mainstream continuity in the first place. I hope Lian comes back and we never hear about Sentry again.

And really, it's not that I like the Sentry, or that I'm disappointed that he's dead. It's just that I'm mildly disappointed that I found out by looking to see what threads are on the front page of the realms instead of by actually reading it in a comic book. Oh well, at least it wasn't a character I actually cared about.

Actually, I'm glad the Sentry is dead. It's a damn shame they had to go there with Lian Harper though. The current crop of writers rely on death too much.

I'm pretty sure it was Star City and not Coast City. I don't usually correct things like this, but if Coast City ever gets blown up again, I would think that Green Lantern is the worst super hero ever. Home town destroyed twice? Don't let it happen Hal!
