Whos better thanos or vision

Actually, Vision is better. Sure, Thanos is more expensive, but that means he takes up most of your team. Vision on the other hand is more playable in my book. Have to love that Phasing.

IF you think about it Thanos is no longer a Ranged threat after he recieves damage.... he gains battle fury doesnt he?

No Battle fury. His dial is quite colourless w/5 click of invulnerability and 5 clicks of toughness followed by 1 regeneration. The warriors post is wrong.

Its funny....there are a number of figures which, upon seeing them across the map, will cause me to think, "Oh carp!!"
Somehow Thanos has just never been one of them. Not to say he isn't good...even great...he just doesn't inspire that apprehension for me.

I like Vision, though.

Are we talking about 1 on 1 or just that Vision is a better team player? Because 1 on 1 it's no contest. And as for him on a team, it all depends on how you use him. I like the both for different reasons, and when seeng either one on the board it depends on how the other guy plays it and who his support is.

Yea for sure one on one its thanos, and u can make a team around thanos for 300 pts that performs well,
visions is great for the points keeping super strength toughness and phasing down most of his dial, and a high attack vaule
visions only downfall is his 2 damage, he is very weak on the damage side, but other than that hes awesome
both charcters are great but they arnt really comparable, due to the high pont differance

I personally like thanos quite a bit for straight stats. A 15 attack is something that is very vicious indeed. In a larger point game (400+) Thanos truely shines. The diffuclty people have playing Thanos typically stems from trying to play him in a lower point game and finding out that one action a turn isn't going to get you anywhere. I will admit that his effectiveness is slightly lessened by the introduction of Thor but Thor never gets the Attack stats Thanos gets nor the movement or defense. The one thing that makes Thor outclass Thanos is higher damage for longer and running shot.

In a 200 point game, you can give Vision enough support to take Thanos down. For example, add rookie Black Panther on his team to deal with Invulnerability, then add someone with Blades/Claws/Fangs like either unique Elektra or my personal favorite: veteran Logan. Logan is great because he can use his flurry attacks and if he gets hurt you can always regenerate.

No argument with the above, but Thanos is a great "Survivor" especialy with Medic back up.

Vision is (obviously) much more vulnerable to Outwit/RCE, as a large slice of his points is his special defence.

I still stick with Thanos, although I do like Vision in 400pts.

In a 400 point game, give me Thanos any day. Below that... depends on what the make-up of the rest of the team is.

Vision any day of the week. Just have him phase around the map picking up heavy objects and smacking Thanos with them (easy to stay out of range by appearing behind blocking terrain and then just phasing close to Thanos).

With Vision you get a better figure for your points. In any game 300 points or less, Vision, otherwise...play em both and have Vision taxi Thanos :)
