Tried this out on a buddy of mine tonight:
HoT Captain America
Sharon Carter
Doombot 5953 x2
Guardsman x6=394
You get the general idea: Hide Cappy behind a wall of Guardsmen, have the bots copy SHIELD TA and use them all to give the Captain an 11 range and 6 damage with each shot.
I won against his Infinity Inc (with a lot of customs on his side) but my losses were frightful. End of the game, I got Cap, one Guardsman and one Doombot left.
Sharon was the weak link, honestly. I threw her on for purely thematic purposes but she didn't carry out her secondary attacker role all that well. Mind you, that might have been less her fault than my dice, which rolled threes with fearsome frequency (and ended up thrown out into the road halfway through the game).
Dropping Ms. Carter would leave me with 56 points left. I'm trying to make this a Modern Age team so I'm steering clear of feats and older figures (otherwise this team would have had a third Doombot and Contingency Plan on Cap).
The floor is open to suggestions.
