Hi,

I am a complete newb at clix, but I put together my first team(400 pts.) and I wonder what other players think of it.

(V) Hercules-my beatstick
(E) Captain America-my leadership guy, decent range fighter
(V) Scarlet Witch-PC
(E) Jean Grey-TK
(V) Pyro-my range guy, barrier is useful too
(V) Hydra Medic-heal
(E) Hydra Medic-ditto
(R) Wasp-airlift
(R) Yellowjacket-ditto
(E) Puppet Master-i know he is bad, but i have no X
(R) Black Panther-cheap, stealth and outwit
(V) Thug-i had 10 pts. left over

On the whole, this team is Avengers based. I have only played one game, and I won (Cap saved the day). This is my first try at a team and I tried to get a lot of variation in my team.

A couple ideas you might consider:

You might run into some problems with the relatively low attack values on your team. Herc is the only fig with good attack values, and once he's gone you may do a lot of missing.

I might switch out R Yellowjacket, E Jean Grey, V Thug and E Puppet Master with some other figs. R Vulture is a much more efficient taxi than YJ. As for Jean Grey, you won't need TK much if you're using taxis. Thug- for filler, try out Aim Agents. Puppet Master- you really need a Mindcontrol fig that can hit consistently.

Two medics may leave you without enough offensive inertia. I don't play 400 pt games, but in 300 pt games that has been my experience.

V or E Black Cat might be a better fit than Scarlet Witch. E Black Cat would be best if you need the Avengers ability to buy you actions, but in a straight Marvel army I ussually prefer V.
