Hi, I'm just getting into HC (played my first tournament yesterday) and would like to get feedback on the following armies, which are intended for 300 point games:

Army 1:

E Ultron (139)
E Doctor Strange (71)
V Black Panther (46)
V Shield Medic (16)
R Skrull Agent (11)
E AIM Agent (14)

Basically, I would use Doc Strange to taxi Ultron into position to blast stuff. Ultron could mimic the Defender ability to boost Doc Strange's defense, and Doc Strange seems pretty powerful in his own right, so I could use him as a second big gun. Black Panther will outwit and go mano-a-mano if needed. The other guys are there to let Ultron mimic their respective team abilities.

Army 2:
E Doctor Doom (163)
2x R Doombots (54)
V Bullseye (43)
V Shield Medic (16)
R Skrull Agent (11)
R Aim Agent (13)

The Doombots taxi Doctor Doom and Bullseye into position. Ideally, I would have one row with Doctor Doom -- Doombot #1 -- Bullseye. Doombot #2 would be behind Doombot #1. Basically, Doombot #1 and Doombot #2 would mimic the Hydra and SHIELD abilities respectively, boosting Doctor Doom and Bullseye's attack and damage when they shoot stuff.

Army 3:
E White Queen (80)
E Klaw (74)
E Vulture (20)
V Vulture (24)
V Logan (60)
V Shield Medic (16)
R Skrull Agent (11)
R Aim Agent (13)

Basically, the Vultures taxi White Queen and Klaw into position to blast stuff (or maybe mind control with White Queen). If necessary, Klaw will copy Sinister Syndicate, Shield, or the Hydra abilities to help out White Queen. Logan keeps to hindering until I need someone to go hand to hand or claw to hand as the case may be.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Personally, I have been trying to have a team just Like yours. Except I use Jean to throw Annihulus and Cyclops and have Annihulus and Cyclops Run and Shoot.

looks good
a few suggestions tho
i owuldnt waste the 11 pts on skrulls i know they are there for team abilities but in the past i have found it rarly works rollling a 6 dont happen alot in those situations

2nd
id use AIM or Hydra Medics over a shield one preferably exp Aim (8attack)
then use a rookie shield for shield ability

also seeing as how u like to use tema abilties theres 2 id defianlty recamend if you are playin DC marvel mix
that would be batman ally (rookie robin 17pts) give all yer doom guys stealth

and superman enemey (intergang medic or agent) lets you get some stealth in there if used properly
oh and one other thing try and fit an avenger or brotherhood memeber in there the shared free move is soooo nice, lek for instance dropping yer panther to rookie will give u that and allow u to imporve other spots

sorry for saying so much jsut sharing what has worked for me

cheers

Thanks for the comments.

Xavier: Well, I got my butt kicked in non-tournament games by people who did know what they were doing with team abilities, so I figured I should try to understand them. :D

Pikowa: Sounds like a good idea. I only have a rookie Jean Grey, and she seems kinda weak to me, but I may try your idea with a Mandroid.

Pip: A number of neat ideas. Rookie Robin will definitely replace the Skrull if I play mixed DC/Marvel games. As for R Black Panther, I would use him if I had him. Unfortunately, V Black Panther is the only Marvel figure that I have with Outwit on the first click. Unlike DC, everything in Marvel (except Black Panther) seems to get Outwit only just before they're knocked out.

First team looks good, but R Black Panther is a better choice than V. He has stealth, Avengers (which Ultron can mimic), and only 27 pts. L/C is nice but it still leaves him vulnerable, and the BCF isn't that useful. Use the points to add some SHIELD to boost Ultron's EE. Also I find Strange a great taxi for Ultron. The Defenders is sweet, and his abilities are so varied, but I almost always push him to get to enhancement. Oh yeah, E or V Hydra Medics are a much better choice than Shield.

Use team 1 (Ultron rules),or try this.

it's especially fun when whirlwind uses ultron's 13 av to smack someone.
