that arose from the games today, although both were actually troublefree, we were wondering about a few things, especially staircases leading up to roofs.
1. since there are two blocks of staircase illustration leading up to the roof, the 2nd one is the same elevation as the roof, meaning the 1st is the same elevation as the ground, so shouldnt there be a thick black line separating the elevation of the roof to the 1st square of staircase, or is line of fire legal?
2. can you diagonally move from the square onto the roof, or must you move onto the square directly in front of the staircase then be able to freely move about the roof? this also applies to ladders...you need to ENTER the square with the ladder to climb up the roof, not move diagonally onto the roof from the square next to the ladder?
3. do leap/climb characters suffer +2 damage from knockback falls off roofs?
4. if my R Hawkman was already in hover mode, had Charge for 10 squares, and there was a R Flash on the other roof, and I can be adjacdent to him in 5 squares using Charge, if i DONT SOAR, can i legally hover from roof to roof, or do i have to soar first to leave one roof to another? do i have to soar to reach the roof on outdoor maps or does hovering ignore elevation? soaring only means GETTING UP IN THE SKY?

thanks!

3. Yes leap climb characters suffer from "falling damage" only flyers are excempt from this rule.

4. No you do not have to soar to change elevations. Hovering alone is good enough to change elevations. And yes Soaring means getting up even higher in the sky. ;)

Hope this helps,
VH
