Doctor Strange

Im posting my very casual, 500 point X-men. Once X-plosion comes out, im going to remake the team to show a before/after contrast so we can see just how effective the new figures are (and if my team building abilities get any better)
The (heavly repainted) X-men
Nightcrawler
Vet Cyclops
Exp Polaris (magneto)
Vet Rogue
Vet Wolverine
L.E. Jean Grey
Rookie Wolvsbane
Doctor Strange

The new and improved X-men!
Nightcrawler
Vet Storm
Exp Shadowcat
Exp Psylock
Rookie Iceman
Exp gambit
Vet Rogue
Unique Wolverine (the ninja version)
Exp Cyclops
It's difficult for me to gague figures I don't have yet, so this is the fist draft. I can't help but think there is a better combo than this, any suggestions?
This is for a no medic format too, Jean is a hero with the support power, so she's game. It's just that the new teasm has so much aggresive potential, I thought it was better spending the 50-59 points in attackers.

anything?
2nd team wins.
And I'm with you on Power Pack.

500pts is just too much for my tastes. I'd like to see a 300pt version post X-plosion.

The post X-plosion X-men suddenly have many options open to them in 300 point builds.
Nightcrawler or Phoenix teams are my bet as the most popular though, perplex (from Gambit and Beast) will make these two very brutal opponents. Expect to see Vet Storm make the cut on a lot of their teams along with E or U Shadowcat...
I'm not at all the X-Fan but I can already see an army similar to this in "themed" games...
Nightcrawler 83
Beast V 80
Gambit V 51
Storm V 52
Shadowcat E 33
-----------------------
299 points
or
Nightcrawler 83
Beast V 80
Gambit E 44
Storm V 52
Shadowcat U 36
-----------------------
295 points
I think these should do pretty well for fun teams. The 2 perplexers should add an interesting dynamic to Nightcrawler. I think that overall though, a well built Phoenix team would be the better way to go.
