Looking for ideas for a 1000pt Restricted Team.

Hey all. Next tourney is wednesday and the build is a 1000pt Restricted team, no characters below 100pts, no colossals.

Just looking for some ideas. Just wondering what you guys would use to build this. Thanks in advance.

Me? I would use Starro at full power... and no he isn't a colossal, he is a big fig... colossals have 3 dials and a much bigger base/range.

Well, it looks pretty good, but it won't work as a theme team. for a generic keyword, like Mystical, you'd need ten figures (one for every 100 points). And since you can't have any figures below 100 points, you'd need, well, exactly 10 figures who were 100 points each. No feats, then. A non-generic keyword team (Asgardian, Avengers, Skrulls) requires one fig for every 150 points (or fraction thereof), wo you'd only need 7 figures. That gives you more room for bigger figs, and feats.

Still, it's not like a them team is required. Many folks just like sticking to comics accuracy. And the little boost it gives you helps too...

Yeah I wasn't necessarily going for a theme team but it was an option. I mainly tried to just get in what I think i'll need: PC, Perplex, Support, Ranged, HSS, and a Brute.

I love the GL Corps. The problem with them is they all have the same abilities.

I'd ditch the 182 pt Kyle Rayner and the 133pt Guy Gardner though... too costly

and instead throw in:

for an even 1000pts

Kinda hard to win with GL Corps though... you could probably TK Ganthet in and out but that's only good for a couple of turns before you get based.

looks like fun. I'd try it out against another 1000pt team... just play against yourself and see which 1000pt team is better for your style.

I would go with a KC team, that would be sweet for a 1000 point game. Those are always fun to use in for that point value!!!:cool::cool::cool:

Ok tested my teams, both seem good lol. Wonder Woman 1-shot killed Black Flash with a heavy object. Ulik didn't survive either but Thor did some major damage and a couple of good rolls later and Zoom died pushing to run away lol.
