Just finished a long campaign last night. Thought I would share the results just for fun.

Intro: The Infinity War (my version)
This campaign will consist of 13-19 battles. There will be a best-of-three battle series for each of the six Infinity Gems and then one massive final battle. The gem battles will follow this template:

1. The first battle of each series will determine who (the good guys or bad guys) can gain initial possession of the gem. The gem is represented by the special marker and is mixed with 4 other square markers and placed faced down on the map. A fig must move into a space containing a marker to turn it over, and end its move there. The first fig to find the special marker takes possession of the gem, but cannot use its powers yet. The goal is to exit the opposite side of the map from which the fig started. The fig must be KO’d in order to drop the gem.
2. The second battle is a raid by the side that lost the first battle. Their goal is to gain possession of the gem, before the current possessors learn how to use it against them. A different mix of characters may be used for both teams. Only the possessing fig from the first battle needs to be present. The fig that possesses the gem gets a roll whenever it is granted an action token, to see if it can use the gem’s powers. This roll does not cost an action in itself. The target number starts at 12 and is reduced by one after each attempt. If the raiding force is defeated, that is the end of the series. Otherwise, there is a third battle.
3. The same as #2, only the team that lost possession is now the raiding force.

The final battle will have all of the gem-possessors + supporting forces battling it out in a climactic showdown

(Note: I get better at notetaking as the campaign progresses. These first few are brief.)

Power Gem #1 (Mansion indoor map)
Good Force: Wolverine, Cyclops, Daredevil, Electra
Evil Force: Magneto, Sabertooth, 3 Hydra members
Notes: Sabertooth fought Wolverine and DD in hallway. Electra knocked a Hydra Agent through a wall. Magneto discovered the Power Gem and exited unscathed.

Power Gem #2 (Warehouse indoor map)
Good force: Prof. X, Wolverine, Wolfsbane, Cyclops
Evil force: Magneto, Scarlet Witch, Sabertooth, & Klaw
Notes: Cyclops blew Sabertooth away in two shots! Magneto took out Wolverine, slamming him into the crates. Prof. X controlled Klaw, but in the end, Klaw KO’d him. Magneto retained possession.

Time Gem #1 (Warehouse indoor)
Good Force: Jean, Cyclops, Wolverine, DD, 2 SHIELD Agents
Evil Force: Puppet Master, Quicksilver, Ultron
Notes: QS discovered the gem and raced to the opposite end of the warehouse, while Ultron tied up the rest of the good team. QS used a haymaker card to take out the SHIELD guy and escaped.

Time Gem #2 (Mall Indoor)
Good Force: Jean, Cyclops, Juggernaut
Evil Force : Ultron (w. gem), Klaw
Extremely close battle. Juggernaut was amazing! It looked like the good guys had it sewn up, but toward the end, Ultron gained the ability to use the gem for a free action, and he and Klaw rallied. Using the gem he KO’d Jean and Cyke, while Juggernaut finished Klaw, but in the process was hurt by two critical misses. Juggernaut was able to reach him, and he pounded Ultron with a critical hit for a dramatic finish! Juggernaut now has possession of the time gem.

Time Gem #3 Evil Counter-Raid
Good force: R-Juggernaut, U-Wolverine, U-Quasar, Quicksilver
Evil force: E-Ultron, E-Kingpin, Hydra medic, Mr. Hyde, Annihilis
Another great battle to end this series! The evil force had the advantage early. Annihilis blew away Quicksilver. And Mr. Hyde grabbed a light post and demolished Wolverine with a critical hit! WOW!! But Juggernaut and Quasar rallied… Juggernaut used the gem and pounded Mr. Hyde into oblivion and then the medic! Quasar took out Annihilis and locked up in a shootout with Ultron. Kingpin gave several leadership actions to Ultron who finished off a weakened Juggernaut. As Kingpin reached for the loose gem. Quasar swooped in and snared it, but couldn’t breakaway from Kingpin, who scored two hits on him. Quasar was weak from his battle with Ultron and Annihilis and was KO’d. A second gem has fallen into the hands of evil.

Space Gem #1 (Mansion outdoor map)
Good Force: Spider-Man, Quasar, Daredevil, 2 Shield Agents, 1 Shield Medic
Evil Force: Firelord, Kang, Skrull Warrior, 3 Skrull Agents.
Firelord moved to a marker and revealed the gem on the first turn! I figured it was over, but this battle would rage on for 90 minutes. Quasar and Spider-Man teamed up on Firelord, battling it out on the mansion roof. Kang and a group of Skrulls flanked around to attack DD and the Shield troops. Quasar weakened Firelord and then Spidey swung in and clobbered him for the KO! The gem fell to the ground beside the mansion where a Skrull took possession on the next turn. Quasar and Kang locked into to a long-distance shootout, after several turns Kang prevailed. Meanwhile Spider-man caught up with the gem-toting Skrull and slowed him down, then a Shield Agent moved in and nailed him with a ranged attack for the KO. Spidey took possession. I figured the good guys had it wrapped up, but Kang and another Skrull managed to get in-range before Spider-Man could exit the map (only four spaces away!!) The Skrull hit for a click and then Kang used a Great Shot card to finish him off! The Skrull took possession and then drew an Out of the Blue card! OH NO!! I figured that was it. The Skrull pushed and moved to the farthest corner of the map. But now he had to wait in order to drop an action token. Using a free action card, the Shield Medic and a Shield Agent got within range and I pushed them to attack. They BOTH HIT!! KO’d the Skrull! The Shield Medic took possession. Meanwhile DD and a Shield Agent were trying to slow down and wear down Kang as he came for the gem. Kang was the last bad guy on the map, when two Shield Agents used a Double Team card and one of them rolled a critical hit to put Kang away! Man, this was great!

Space Gem #2 (Construction Site Outdoor map)
Good Force: V-Spider-man, V-Daredevil, E-Blank Panther
Evil Force: E-Kang, R-Hydra Operative, V-Hydra Medic
This was the biggest blowout of the campaign. The Hydra figs did little to slow down the good guys. Kang missed his shot at Spider-man, and Daredevil dodged his powerful blasts twice! Spider-man squared off with Kang and bounced him of the side of a building a couple times, while Black Panther outwitted RCE. Spider-man knocked him through a wall with a critical hit. Then Daredevil moved in and finished him off on the next turn!

Daredevil retains possession. The good-guys have secured their first gem!

Soul Gem #1 (Industrial Complex map)
Good Force: R-Hulk, V-Jean Grey, E-Capt. America
Evil Force: R-Firelord, R-Mr Hyde, E-Blizzard, E-Sabertooth
Blizzard used his barrier for the first three turns effectively tying up the good guys. This allowed the fast Firelord to swoop into the office section to search unhindered for the gem. Capt. America got a around the barrier and cracked Blizzard with the shield and then chased after Firelord. Meanwhile Hulk and Mr. Hyde locked up in a brawl. Hyde smashed him with a computer, but once Hulk reached full greenness, it was just a matter of time. He pounded on Hyde for the next three turns! Sabertooth confronted Cap and they had a pretty good s####, this allowed Firelord to get between the buildings with only Jean Grey to stop him. She failed on two telekinesis attacks and Firelord escaped with the gem. (Note: This was one of the more interesting battles tactically speaking. I really had to think about the moves.)

Soul Gem #2 (City Intersection Outdoor map)
Good Force: Quasar, R- Dr. Strange, E-Shield Medic, R-Spider-man, R-Wasp
Evil Force: E-Annihilis, R-Firelord, E-Sabertooth, E-Blizzard, E-Boomerang
This was a high-flying shootout, with the most significant action at soaring altitude! Annihilis and Firelord engaged Quasar and Dr. Strange. Annihilis had a hard time hitting Strange and paid the price. Quasar and Firelord blasted away at each other. But Quasar struck first giving him the edge in a lengthy battle of attrition. On the ground, Spider-man kept Sabertooth and Boomerang occupied. Spider-man would not have lasted long if it weren’t for the Medic and Dr. Strange staying nearby to heal him. At one point, Blizzard saw an opportunity and struck with his pulse wave power. He simultaneously damaged and knocked back four enemy figs! Wow! Late in the battle, Boomerang KO’d Spidey and hurt Strange with a double shot! Meanwhile Quasar KO’d Firelord and the Soul Gem fell onto a rooftop where Annihilis and Wasp raced to get it. Annihilis scooped it up and was immediately blasted from long range by Strange for a KO! On the street, Blizzard blasted the Medic into unconsciousness. Wasp recovered the gem from the rooftop, while Quasar finished off Blizzard. This left three soaring good guys against two grounded bad guys: Sabertooth, who couldn’t touch them, and Boomerang, who was weak from the battle. The good guys mopped up the streets and Wasp turned the gem over to Quasar.

Quasar with the Soul Gem could be a tough combination, if only the good guys can retain possession against an evil raiding party.

Soul Gem #3 (Mansion Outdoor Map)
Good Force: Quasar, Spider-Man (custom, value 135), Daredevil
Evil Force: Firelord, Puppet Master, Scarlet Witch, Klaw, and 7 assorted Skrulls
In the earlygoing, Firelord scored a vicious fireblast on Spiderman for 5 clicks! Daredevil made an early exit as he was blasted twice by Klaw. Spider-Man moved in on Klaw and a crowd of Skrulls, while Quasar took-on Firelord and the rest. Spidey eventually KO’d Klaw, but a couple of lucky rolls by the Skrulls finished Spider-Man. About that time, Quasar blew away Firelord and gained use of the gem and it was his only hope to win. Quasar was now alone against, 6 Skrulls, Scarlet Witch and Puppet Master. PM had a few chances at mind control, using Scarlet’s probability power, but never succeeded. Quasar blew Puppet Master off of the roof of the mansion with a spectacular critical hit! The Skrulls and Scarlet Witch pursued the soaring Quasar and hit him several times, but the Soul Gem’s regeneration power kept him strong and he eventually picked them off one-by-one! Quasar retains possession of the Soul Gem for the final showdown.

Reality Gem #1 (Park Outdoor Map)
Good Force: Cyclops, Jean Grey, Electra, Wolfsbane
Evil Force: Klaw, Hobgoblin, Boomerang, Quicksilver, Hydra Agent, Hydra Medic
Five markers were scattered around the shoreline of the pond. Both forces raced toward the center of the map in a frenzied search for the gem. None of the first four markers revealed the gem, so it was obvious as Jean Grey and Hobgoblin raced to get to the last marker! Hobgoblin swooped down and grabbed it, but Cyclops had been tracking him and unleashed a powerful critical hit, RCE blast that launched Hobgoblin from the surface of the water into a tree five spaces away! Awesome shot!! Jean Grey used telekinesis to smash the stunned Hobgoblin with a workbench, finishing him! Meanwhile Klaw and Cyclops blasted each other, back and forth! Klaw survived the battle thanks to the Hydra Medic. Electra was having a hard time with Boomerang, but at least kept him occupied for several turns. Quicksilver sped over to recover the gem for the bad guys and then raced toward the opposing edge of the map. He was one space away from escaping when Jean wrapped a light post around him! This incapacitated him long enough for Wolfsbane to arrive and tear him to shreds. Wolfsbane took the gem the other direction. Jean threw Klaw across the pond and removed him from the chase, but Wolfsbane was cutoff by Boomerang and the medic. Wolfsbane made the breakaway roll and escaped with the gem.

Reality Gem #2 (Outdoor Map #3)
Good Force: Rogue, Wolfsbane, Blade, Daredevil
Evil Force: Hobgoblin, Mr. Hyde, Quicksilver, Sabertooth, Vulture
Vulture and Rogue met at soaring altitude. Vulture charged into her, but Rogue replied with a massive blow, rendering Vulture ineffective. Hobgoblin moved in and incapacitated Rogue. Meanwhile Mr Hyde picked up a dumpster and went after Daredevil, but DD was too slick for him, making Hyde miss twice! Blade took out Quicksilver knocking him into the pond and advanced to help Daredevil. Sabertooth met Wolfsbane and knocked the stuffing out of her! Rogue desperately wanted to help Wolfsbane, who had possession of the gem, but was again incapacitated by Hobgoblin. Sabertooth defeated her and a grabbed the gem! By this point, Daredevil and Blade wore down Hyde and Daredevil chased after Sabertooth. Despite DD’s efforts, Sabertooth made his breakaway roll and escaped with the gem. Oh no!!!

Reality Gem #3
Good Force: V-Wasp, R-Spidey, E-BP, V-Jean Grey, Medic
Evil Force: R-Rogue, E-Sabertooth, R-Bullseye, Whirlwind, Blizzard
Wasp neutralized Rogue at soaring altitude with incapacitation. Whirlwind and Blizzard teamed-up on Jean Grey. Spiderman seemed confused as he switched back and forth between foes, finally he committed to helping Jean. He belted Whirlwind! But Bullseye zeroed-in and nailed Spidey from a distance. Black Panther was also wounded by Bullseye and didn’t have much of a chance by the time he reached Sabertooth. With BP and Spidey out of it, Jean couldn’t hold on much longer. Wasp made a desperate attempt to get to Sabertooth, but was forced to retreat. Evil prevails again and has a 3-2 lead! Sabertooth keeps the gem.

Mind Gem #1 (Construction Site Map)
Good Force: Spiderman (custom), Black Panther, Hulk, Bullseye
Evil Force: 300-pt Sentinel
We will just say that Bullseye owed Black Panther a favor, to explain his unlikely alliance with the good guys. On the first turn, Spidey used a free action card to discover the gem on top of a building! The Sentinel moved over and blew him off the roof! Ouch! As Spiderman raced along the perimeter of the map, the Sentinel cut him off and tried to capture him, but Spidey dodged (super senses)! However, Spidey failed his breakaway roll and was forced to fight. Spiderman connected for two clicks. The Sentinel turned and fired on the advancing Hulk, knocking him back. Spiderman continued to battle the Sentinel. Meanwhile Bullseye fired twice, but couldn’t damage the armored behemoth. The Hulk and Black Panther moved in close and began to hammer away. Spiderman made his breakaway and fled with the gem. The Sentinel pursued, but failed to capture the elusive hero! Spiderman managed to breakaway again on the next turn and escaped the opposite side of the map.

Mind Gem #2 (Indoor Factory Map)
Good Force: Spiderman, Hulk, Cyclops
Evil Force: Mr Hyde, Juggernaut, Blizzard, Klaw
Blizzard used a FREE ACTION card to move into a hallway and blast Cyclops, but critical missed! Cyke counterattacked knocking him into a wall! Spiderman swung in and kicked Blizzard through the wall! Wow! Cyke used a WEAK SPOT card to blast the approaching Juggernaut! Jugs retaliated by throwing a crate knocking Cyclops back. Spiderman tied up Juggernaut, but Klaw moved-in and blasted Spiderman for six clicks, through a wall an into another wall! A massive shot!! Hulk and Juggernaut locked up. Spiderman gained control of the Mind Gem and now had double OUTWIT ability. He cancelled Juggernaut’s invulnerability but missed his close attack. Klaw blasted Spidey again for the KO! The Mind Gem was loose in an office! Hulk moved to block the hole in the wall. The good guys drew a lucky WEAKSPOT card! Cyclops used it to obliterate Juggernaut for the KO!! But moments later, Klaw finished Cyclops with a blast! Hulk turned and pounded Klaw! Mr Hyde finally moved into the picture and smashed a computer over Hulk! Now Hulk and Hyde battled, while Klaw tried to maneuver to get the gem. But Hulk thrashed Hyde quickly and blocked Klaw’s path. Hulk threw Klaw across the hall and into an office. Klaw tried a ranged attack, but missed and Hulk crushed him for the victory!

The Good Guys retain the Mind Gem!

The Battle of Infinity

With 15 battles behinds us, the stage is now set for the climactic battle. A series has been decided for each of the six gems and each side, good and evil, won 3 series each. The final possessors of the gems and the powers they gain are as follows:

Quasar & Soul Gem: Regeneration
Hulk & Mind Gem: Outwit and Battle Fury
Daredevil & Space Gem: Toughness and +2 Defense

Sabertooth & Reality Gem: Super Senses (see swap below)
Kingpin & Time Gem: Free action each turn, which he may delegate to an ally.
Magneto & Power Gem: Super Strength, +1 to attack and damage rating (see swap below)

Special rules: Battle cards will be used. The point-limit is 400 points per side with 150 points of reinforcement once teams are reduced by half (200 points remaining). All gems have been activated. When one of the possessors is KO’d, the first character to reach the loose gem may use it. This is the final showdown. Unlike previous battles, characters may not exit the opposing side of the map in order to retain possession of a gem. The war is over when one side is totally defeated.

Judging from the current possessors, I would say the good guys have the advantage. It is going to be real tough for the bad guys to take-out an outwitting Hulk and a regenerating Quasar. DD will be extremely difficult to hit.

Swap: To further the cause of evil, Magneto and Sabertooth agreed to trade gems. Sabertooth with +1 attack & damage is a fearsome foe! Magneto gains super senses, which could be really useful for him. My house rules for Leadership make Kingpin and his gem much more effective, but he’ll need some major protection.

The Final Battle
Map: Outdoor Mansion

Good Force: Quasar, Hulk, Capt. America, Human Torch, Daredevil (Reinforcements: Thing, Nightwing)
Evil Force: Sabertooth, Magneto, Kingpin, Blaastar, Avalanche, Blizzard, Quicksilver, one Skrull (Reinforcement: Juggernaut)

Quasar and Magneto begin blasting at soaring altitude. Magneto employed the Reality gem to good effect, and then incapacitated Quasar with the light post! Meanwhile, Quicksilver raced up and unleashed a pair of flurries on Daredevil. Cap methodically dismantled Avalanche. Hulk came after Magneto, but missed. Then Hulk and Sabertooth began to brawl. Hulk hit him with a parked car, but Sabertooth replied with a wicked critical attack, knocking Hulk back! Sabertooth quickly jumped on Hulk for the KO! Unbelievable… Human Torch swooped down to recover the Mind gem. Cap finished off Avalanche and remained in stealth mode. However, Quasar was in big trouble. Three bad guys blitzed him and the Skrull delivered the knockout blow! Uh oh… The Thing arrived just in time to scoop up the loose Soul gem! Blaastar tracked Daredevil from soaring altitude, but DD repeatedly dodged those powerful blasts. Daredevil then retaliated on Quicksilver, but Quicksilver pivoted and began to flurry-away on Cap, and KO’d him with a critical hit! Yikes… The good guys were having a hard time. Magneto continued to be very effective with the Reality gem. The good force rallied as Human Torch and Nightwing defused evil attacks with outwit. Magneto used telekinesis to heave The Thing down the street! Cool… Grimm got up and threw a truck at Kingpin, just missing. Then Blaastar arrived to help out the outmatched Kingpin. The Thing pounded Blaastar briefly, but then Kingpin and Blaastar both used leadership to overwhelm the Thing! Kingpin scored a critical for the KO! Meanwhile, Nightwing, Daredevil and Human Torch dog piled Magneto, knocking him out and leaving two gems up for grabs! Blizzard KO’d himself trying to reach them! Nightwing took out the Skrull easily, recovered the gems for the good guys, and then dealt damage to Kingpin! Wow! What a surge! But then a really ticked-off Blaastar arrived on the scene. He crushed Nightwing and then Human Torch in short order! Daredevil somehow recovered the loose gems and had possession of 4 gems at once! Daredevil eluded Blaastar’s heavy barrage, but then ran into a critical haymaker from Kingpin! Ouch… Juggernaut finally reached the fray and demolished the stunned Daredevil! Blaastar, Juggernaut and Kingpin were the last ones remaining. EVIL RULES THE UNIVERSE! So ends the Infinity War Campaign…

Man, that was fun.

hey man those were awesome writeups
and a very entertaining battle
i have a few questions i noticed you used alot of custom rules? or so it seemed to me so i was a little lost at times
could u explain what it is u did?
like what were battlecards?
what was yer rule for leadership?
stuff like that, just interested to know

oh and just an insight, im curious to a couple of yer choices for hwo was on which team
u explained a little abpout bullseye
but why did juggernaut appear on the good team? to the best of my knowledge he has never really been good
also quicksilver as evil confused me as well, cause he was only evil for a very short time and 90 percent of his comic life has been spent with the heros such as avengers, fantatsic 4, inhumuns and x factor
and last but not least
Firelord really isnt a bad guy and in the Infinity War in particular he fought on the good side against Thanos

sorry to nitpick but the firelord being evil thing always gets to me cause soo many people see him as evil but if you follow him in comics hes always good
anwyays the posts were great look to see more battles form u
cheers

Cool Scenario!!

Just Imagine Thanos with all those Gems!!

Id change a couple things on gems when I do it, like this.

Time: 2 actions per turn for one character, but only one action token.

Space: Impervious

Soul: Regnerate, but without the -2 to the result

Mind: Outwit/Mind Control/Perplex/Cannot be Mind Controlled

Im gonna try a team against Thanos with all those gems in his possession and see just how bad he really could be!! He should be almost unstoppable!!!

Great writeup, and great scenario!!

Thanks for the comments. Most of the battles were played head-to-head, and that's just how the sides were chosen by the players. As you can see I tried to stick to good vs evil lines, but some characters varied. For example, Juggernaut fought for both sides at some point.

You're right, I used extensive house rules, and many of those rules were changed or modified during the course of this campaign. I don't think I want to get into a full blown house rules discussion on this thread, but you asked about leadership in particular. Here's what I used in the last few battles:

LEADERSHIP: This character may add +1 to a designated attribute for himself and one friendly figure each turn. No roll is required.

Simple and effective...

thats cool i liek that

i think leadersip should allow yer team to work more effctivly, and giving an extra stat point does just that, cool house rule

oh and if you odnt mind xplaining what were the cards u used and how did they work? they sound interesting and fun to try

Here's an example of basic battle cards that you can produce for Heroclix. They make small-scale battles more interesting. (Credit to: markleamanstudios.com, see Pyramid League Rules for more details). Battle cards can be produced easily using desktop publishing software (Microsoft Publisher) and then printed on business cardstock (8.5 x 11 sheets, ten cards per sheet).

HAYMAKER: Used on a Close attack action. +1 Attack Roll, +1 Damage. Knockback one space in addition to any normal knockback

SURGE: +2 to SPEED rating of all friendly figs in this turn.

GRIM RESOLVE: Heal 1d6 teammates by 1 click each. This does not cost an action token.

FREE ACTION: 1 free action for any friendly fig that is not being pushed. This does not cost an action token.

GREAT SHOT: Used on a Ranged attack action. Double the attackers range. +1 Attack Roll, +1 Damage

ASSAULT: All friendly figs gain +1 on attack rolls in this turn.

DEFEND: Defensive value of all friendly figs is +1 in this turn.

WEAKSPOT: Used on any attack action. +1 Attack Roll. Turn off all defensive super powers of the target.

OUT OF THE BLUE: Move one friendly fig anywhere on the map. No terrain or breakaway applies. This move costs one action token.

NORMAL TURN

Battle Deck Consists of 24 cards:
· 10 Normal Turn cards
· 2 of Each: Assault, Defend, Grim Resolve, Free Action, & Weakspot.
· 3 Haymaker cards
· 1 Out of the Blue card

Interesting variation to the game, I think Ill try it sometime.

We played an Infinity war scenario, much like the ones you described, and it was a total blast. The added abilitites from the Gems really put a cool spin on the figure holding it.

Really cool, Great thread!!

In regards to my "Give Thanos all the Gems Remark",

I was not sane at the time.

Thanos with all the gems, and their powers, is as he is in the comics. UNSTOPPABLE!!! Man. He is really killer with all those Gems.

I started at 400 point teams, and as they were defeated, I increased the totals by 100 each time.

Thanos is a monster with those extra powers. I stopped after the 800 point team wasnt able to take him down. He got most of his supersenses rolls, and was averaging around 3 clicks of regeneration each time he did it. The power Gem adding to his attack and damage was devastating, and My spin on the time gem giving him 2 actions per turn was absolutely killing the opposition.

It was pretty cool now that I think about it, because thats really how Thanos was. A MONSTER.

cool rules iwth the cards

as for stopping thanos even if wizkids came out with a nebula piece she couldnt stop him
the only perosn who could stop thanos was himself
when he had the cosmic cube and when he had the infinity gems both times he basically stopped himself as Warlock tells him in Infinity War number 5 (maybe 6)

cause thanos is the man
man stinger thats crazy that thanos keeps winning i will have to try it and see if i cna beat him, i will use it as my next big battle as soon as i finsih with my epic heros vs villans posting, which u guys should check out
thx for the ideas you guys

He is tough!!

Here's how the Gem powers were altered from the original post.

Power: SAME, +1 attack and Damage

Time: This grants the holder 2 actions per turn, only 1 token

Soul: This was 1-6 regeneration, without the -2 to the result

Mind: Outwit/Perplex/Mind Control/Holder cannot be mind controlled.

Space: SAME +2 defense and toughness

Reality: Heightened Supersenses. I figured that an infinity gem would give you above average supersenses, so a roll of 4,5, or 6 would let Thanos dodge the attack.

Now, back to the original story, I dont know about the rest of you, but Id like to hear the results of another battle like this one, if MostlyKlowdy would want to do it again. That battle was really cool. Maybe the good side can win next time!

Great idea!

CyberVenom and I have been trying out a modified form of it ourselves.

We upped the power of the gems though. Someone with these 6 babies would be unstoppable. We're gonna run a fight of Thanos with all 6 versus a 2000 point team and see who comes out on top. (Our money's on Thanos)

Here's our Gems:
Each gem grants all the abilities listed

Space:
+6 Speed
Phasing
AutoFlight (the character gains flight and can thus carry someone as well as move to different elevations)

Time:
+2 Speed
Supersenses (moving quick enough to dodge)
Hypersonic Speed (manipulating time to go really fast)

Mind:
Mind Control
Psychic Blast
Telekinesis
Holder cannnot be Mind Controlled

Soul:
Psychic Blast
Support
Willpower

Power:
Impervious
SuperStrength
+4 Attack
+2 Damage

Reality:
Outwit
Perplex
Probability Control

Lemme know what you think :-)

Vance, I think your version is way, way too powerfull. I mean, how do you beat the guy with the reality gem alone?

MostlyKlowdy, this is a great idea. My friend and I are currently playing a similar tournament. We're using 300 point teams for each gem battle. The figure that finds the gem can immediately try to figure out its purpose. Once all gems are found, each player will make a 900-point team that must contain any figures that have a gem. It's working out real well so far. Thanks for the great idea.

Yeah I know they're extremely powerful. But we decided to try them like this anyway.

We'll let you know how it turns out. After trying we may decide to reduce the benefits down. We'll see.

Once in a while it's fun to play overpowered games though :-)
