View Full Version : theme team PC and pushing damage
So this is just something my area wanted to be clear on. If piece A has an action token and is being attacked by piece B. Then piece A uses a theme team PC. When does does piece A take the pushing damage? Before the reroll, after the reroll but before resolving attack, or after resolving the attack?
Came up in a game where the pushing damage moved the character onto PC and we just weren't sure when the piece takes the pushing damage. Thanks in advance.

I would say that pushing damage is applied after the resolution of the action - complete the reroll, take any damage if the attack is a success, resolve knockback, etc., and then apply the pushing damage.

This is correct. Pushing damage is applied after the action resolves. Also to note you do not gain the benefits of shellhead for applying the second token.

The reason we were given for this when Shellhead was released is that the reroll MUST be performed using the same stats as the original. (The ruling was made with CSA.)
...
Then Back Street Brawl was released and we got the ruling that if PC was used the bonus goes away on the second roll.
I love consistency.

I'm sorry....it must be the fact that I have a 9 y/o daughter but the first thing I thought of when I saw this was, "If you love consistency so much why don't you marry it!"
I know...right?
*sigh*
