Barrier and brotherhood

According to the PAC :
"BH members may preform a move action without taking one of your actions for the turn"

Barrier: "Give this character a move action, but do not move him"

I know this dosen't work with charge, but does this mean that avalance can create a barrier for free?

Unfortunately not. The Avengers/Brotherhood/JLA free move is restricted to actual movement only. The good part is, it works when you're trying to breakaway as well as moving.
