Depends on what universe they fight in. If they fight in the marvel universe then Flash won't be as fast as he is in the DC universe because heros can't move that fast in the marvel univesre. In the marvel univserse Spider-Man has a chance, in the DC universe hes got no change in hell.

Gambit would school robin. Gambit can hold his own against Wolverine in a fight (whos just as a good as Captain America) plus hes got more experience and the mutant ability to charge his playing cards (or anything else). Gambit, hands down, no contest.

Surfer would beat Green Lantern. It wouldn't be a blow out but he would win.

How about another one - Thor v.s Superman. I say Superman, but it would be a very long, hard battle and Superman would take a betting (hes vunaberial (sp) to magic, and Thors hammer just happens to be magic) but Superman would come out on top.

Yes I'd have to say Superman as well.

The fight would be full of heavy hits and nuke-like punches, but Superman's a thinker as well; he's outwitted the likes of Mxyzptlk on all occasions of them meeting.

Also there's Superman's speed, only second to the Flash's hypersonic abilities.

But if you want to talk brawn, any one that can take do the Hulk hand-to-hand, can pretty much take down anybody.

Once again, everyone just blows off Spidey's spider sense. It's PRECOGNITIVE folks, which means he will instinctively know where Flash will be at any given time, and he's only gonna need one punch to put Flash on his butt for the 10 count, period. Don't get me wrong, I love DC and I love the Flash, but the old Spidey sense comes through in the end. Flash rarely if ever fights guys with that kind of agility, so he'll be caught off guard by Spider-Man's superhuman agility and fighting prowess.

1. Hey come on, Spider-Man would take Flash. I think in the end you have to remember that Spidey's spider sense would save him from the Flash's speed, and one or two good punches would end the flashes day, not to mention that Spidey's a thinker(much like Superman) and he finds ways to beat his opponents, not just go in there and slug it out, he beats them with his mind as well as his abilities.

2. I think Gambit wins, he is just too good a fighter.

3. Surfer wins. I hate to go against GL, but Surfer is way too strong.

4. Darkseid crushes Apoclaypse. Especially if its on his planet.

5. Superman wins over Thor, but I would love to see it. Once again, Supes outthinks his opponents and the thunder god has never been to big on strategy.

Just my opinions.

1. spidey. he surprises flash, does his patented web-eyes, and whacks the flash to titan.
2. gambit, duh. all he has to do is get robin's staff for 1 second, charge it up, and BOOMO! robin is outta there.
3. gl wins. c'mon, he can create anything! make a solid box and sqeeze the surfer out.
4. gotta be darkseid. no question
5. thor is my guess. magic from his hammer transports them to asgard, where supes has no, if any, power, cuz there's so much magic. buh-bye superman!

I have to say Joker. Goblin would own in a hand to hand fight, but Joker is to smart for that. The Joker, in my opinion, is the most dangerous man in Marvel or DC.

1. Flash, hands down. Come on, love Spidey, but SS doesn't do much good if you aren't fast enough (sorry he's in molasses when compared to Flash) to hit anything or block punches.
2. Gambit, though I think it's closer than most would think (assuming Robin has his gadgets)
3. I have to go with Surfer though it would be a major fracas (yes, I used the word fracas)
4. Darkseid, but the big A is pretty nasty, he hasn't lived thousands of years being easy to beat
5. Superman. Sorry, love Thor, but nuh uh.

Predictions--->

1) Flash. Spider-Man's spidey senses warn him of danger, but NOT WHERE ITS COMING FROM!!! Flash would exploit this and hit him hard.
2) Gambit. Robin is too much of a wuss.
3) Silver Surfer. You don't get powers from a planet-destroying demigod and lose a fight.
4) Close. Apocalypse would win, though. He can shapechange, increase his size and strength, and basically gain any physical superhuman power imaginable.
5) Thor, most definetely. Superman is weak against magic, and besides, Thor took on Ego AND Galactus and LIVED. I'd like to see Superman do that.

Actually, Spidey's senses are far more attuned than most people realize, it's just that most writers ignore this fact to make for better drama.

Remember that Lantern's ring is the most powerful weapon in the known universe. Something like that could go up against a god if you ask me.

Robin would lose, but it would actually be a pretty close fight. You don't take training from Batman and walk away a "wuss"

Darkseid + Omega Beams = Dead Apocalypse. Either that or transported to another dimension/planet/universe, whatever. This is actually a no-fight here, as Darkseid doesn't even need to be on the planet to smoke Apocalypse.

Superman destroyed Imperiex. Imperiex would most likely eat Galactus for lunch, so normally I'd give the fight to him, but in the end, I believe it's the magic that's gonna give Supes trouble. If we're talking about his supercharged OWAW form, then Thor gets his winged head handed to him, but if it's just plain ol' Supes, Thor just BARELY edges this one out.

Oh! First to answer Bolt vs Doomsday!

I don't think Doomsday has a chance. Sort of. Black Bolt has all the super speed/strength/toughness of Supes, but to a lesser extent. The important part is where he gets it from: free-flowing electrons. I'm not overly knowledgable when it comes to phsyics, but I know that bombarding an atom with a proton in just the right way is what triggers a nuclear blast, and I'd have to guess that the effect of an electron would be similar. He'd have no trouble ripping Doomsday to shreds with his voice. Of course, he'd probably tear his face and chest into little bits doing it, like in Earth-X. Hence the 'sort of.'

As far as the rest:
-Flash over Spidey. Sure he's got the spider-sense, but that doesn't matter: the important question is whether or not his reaction time is as good as Flash's. Which of course it's not.
-Gambit. Of course.
-Surfer. Well, depending on the GL, of course. But still Surfer ... only with varying degrees of difficulty.
-Darkseid would win over the big A 80% of the time, but since the Big A is a space/time-hopper, he/'d just go to one of those timelines where he'd win. Then again, according to some Spectre books I read, whomever kills Darkseid takes his place, so in the end he always wins, in a way. But of course, A-Man would have to come out on top eventually - I mean, the place is named after him!
-Thor. I know he's not huge on strategy an' all, but you can't tell me he won't come with kryptonite - especially seeing how easy it is to get.

Black Bolt vs. Doomsday. Doomsday walks with it. Darkseids Omega Beams couldn't even SCRATCH Doomy, so Doomsday just walks through all of Bolt's screaming and hollering and knocks his head off in a single punch. Done and done.

Next up...The Wrecker vs. Kevin Matchstick. (Both use magically enchanted sticks basically, Wrecker a crowbar and Kevin a baseball bat).

Nah. Omega Blasts are carp. I mean seriously ..... they obliterate anything they hit, right? But how many times have you seen them get deflected, or even hit with no effect? There's no way that total annhiliation is going to come to anybody that isn't on their way out anyway - and certainly never somebody from a different comic universe.

Namor vs Aquaman. Can anyone remember how strong Aquaman is? I can't off the top of my head, but Namor is on the same level as the Hulk.

Wrecker vs Kevin Matchstick. I've never read Mage, but IIRC, Kevin has normal human strength. Wrecker, on the other hand is in the 20 ton(?) range. I'd have say Wrecker.

In Flash Vs Spider-Man, Flash would win hands down. Remember, Flash can move faster then the speed of thought, which means by the time Spidey's Spider Senses would warn him of danger, Flash would already be on him pounding him with to many punches to dodge. If Spidey could get lucky and web up Flash, Flash could vibrate through the web and escape.

Gambit Vs Robin. Am I the only one who thinks the cajun would get creamed? Robin was trained by Batman and knows how to use stealth to his advantage and how to take out metahumans. Don't get me wrong, Gambit is stealthy, being an ex-thief, and he is well trained in combat. I'd see it go like this; Gambit chucks a few cards and Robin dodges out of the way. Robin lays down a smoke cloud, and sneak attacks Gambit, taking him down. by by gumbo.

On Bolt vs Doomsday, remember Doomsday is only resistant to an attack if it kills him first. So one scream from Bolt full blast would shread Doomsday. If they faced off a second time Doomsday would have the edge.

Dark Phoenix VS Superman... YA!, i think phoenix would eat him alive...

I have to go with Flash, there's no way of dodging that guy, and that seems to be spidey's number one tactic. Dodge frustrate infuriate and than close in when there's in opening. I don't see that happening versus the scarlet speedster.
Oh as for thor versus supes heres how i'd see it. Superman would move outta that hammer's way's faster than a speeding bullet, and zap godilocks with his heat vision till there's one charred thundergod. Or he may just grab the hammer and snap it over his knee. Just remember that old song guys, " don't tug on superman's cape."
Now a battle i'd like to see is green lantern vs. Iron Man any takers?

Archangel would be no match for Carter Hall in close combat.

If you're talking the Apocalypse version of Archangel, then maybe there'll be a bit of a contest, but Hawkman would come out on top on any day ending with a 'y'.

You mean the ultimate unifier. And yes, if Batman got his hands on it, Galactus would surrender. However, the process of getting the Unifier required the assistance of the Watcher, and drove Human Torch insane. I'm sure Batman's psyche is much tougher than Johnny Storm, but the question is, does Batman have any friends comperable to the Watcher who can locate the unifier and bring him to it?

Ultimate nullifier. And I read the Batman matcup as being a spoof on the old Adam West "How the hell does that fix anything?!" endings.

Archangel would beat Hawkman, but that's only because Archangel has those little shooty-thingees, so he'd never have to be in close combat. Decaf Angel wouldn't have that ability, and he'd get trounced like the rich boy he is. "Not the face! Not the face!"

The other ones I don't think could really get called. I mean, you have two types of matchups other than the Batman/Galactus one. First you have matches that involve the Marvel/DC versions of almost the same character, and DC always wings these. Always. DC almost never looses unless it's a vote thing. That really bothers me. But that's neither here nor there. The second category is people who can beat up Superman. Superman is probably the only guy from DC (aside from second-stringers) that ever looses. Which makes sense, because it'd be lame otherwise... but it seems like every Superman crossover starts with him looseing some of his power

Oh, and you guys all have one fatal flaw in your Superman v. Thor argument: Superman absolutely NOT use his super speed to dodge Thor's hammer, and then to pummel him. The reason for this is that Superman has so many powers that he tends to forget them sometimes when he's fighting powerful enemies. No, really. He'll use super speed to get to the fight, but then somehow forget he has it moments later. I don't think he'd break Thor's hammer either. If it can be broken, somebody probably would have done that by now. I'm not saying that Supes would lose handily, so much as I'm saying that the way he's always been written, there's no way he could finish off Thor without a several-issue miniseries.

Of course, now that Thor has the Odin Force .... :rolleyes:

Yeah, I'm starting to agree. Marvel seemed to get a pretty big shot in the arm about when the Ultimate Series(s) started. I liked Marvel a lot more back when it was guys like Captain America or Spider-Man .... guys who were regular Joes who got lucky, and worked their butts off to use their powers the way they should. I know the characters are all the same (more or less), but I just don't get that vibe anymore, y'know?

i dunno, ive always thought that characters in DC are kinda shallow, but then again, I don't really tend to read DC that often... I suppose this is why marvel superheros are more popular than DC.... If half of the comics would be made, it would be the more Obscure, yet way more powerful Marvel people that would be a match for the more powerful, more well known people like supes.... ie- Thanos VS Superman, Thanos being 10 times more powerful, Superman would win.. Same thing with Thor...
Its like when Superman beat hulk... it pissed me off, Hulk shoulda won... Also, cap vs bats, they portrayed them as even, but i think that cap should still have one... Whats the diff between Captain Marvel and superman??... i didn;t think there really was one, so explain why thor won that, but you all think superman would win....?? Lemme see what else was in there.... Umm.....
Catwoman Vs Elektra, i agree whole heartadly, elektra is way better trained....
Wolvy vs Lobo, ok... Logically Lobo SHOULD win, but, Wolverine is a big franchise, and not to discredit the character, at the same time he IS a tough mofo, taking on hulk numerous times would prepare him to beat lobo in my eyes...
Aquaman vs Namor- Namor should have won, hes stronger, he flys, and he just should have won, a whale falling on namor would not kill him, im sorry...
Surfer vs Lantern- no real comments here, it ending like it should have
Jubillee vs Robin- who cares...
Storm vs Wonderwoman- Storm wins, and i agree, she just zapped the hell out of her...
Flash vs Quicksilver- I agree, Silvers fast, but not THAT fast

Im prolly forgetting one or two but eh..

So, Certain assumptions can be made overall, and should logically be agreed with
Marvel beats DC in an all out fight, hands down
JLA beats Avengers(why?, flash, thats why)

so... batman beat galactus? that i doubt. galactus beat friggen ULTRON with a wave of his hand! ultron (as put so well by dr. doom) has more power then an h-bomb!(see secret wars #1) galactus would beat batman like that.

next up: spectre vs. living tribunal (allies in marvel vs. dc, but no more!)

my guess: the trib. he destroys universes for a living! all the specture does is fight crime. the trib will eat specture for lunch (no leftovers, #####!)

1. Flash over Spidey- Love Spidey but even SS isn't faster than the speed of light.

2.Gambit over Robin- Although trained by the Bat, Robin can be naive at times and Gambit is too sneaky.

3.Silver Surfer over GL- A close one but SS's speed wins the fight

4. Darkseid over Apocalypse- Darkseid has god-like power.

5. Thor over Superman- Thor IS a GOD. Thor cannot be killed except on Asgard and Supes is as vulnerable to magic as a normal man. It would be like hitting a boy scout with Mjolnir
