If you want me to buy boosters again, we really need a character list of who is in the set before pre-order cut off date.

BatB was the last straw for me.

I'll order whatever product you release where I know what characters I'm getting.

Jonah Hex and Blackest Night and Brightest Day is where I think you're getting it right. I don't even need dials spoiled that early. I just nbeed to know who is in the set so I can make an educated decision on what I'm spending.

Do not give T. Paul Stiles a list of the new hotness. While he's not buying any boosters of the new set, we will be mopping up his teams with the fun new hotness you surprise us with. We will look upon the set with the wonder of a child opening his presents on x-mas morning and squeeling with giddy delight over the new figures we get to play with

You know what I'd like to see- the character lists back on the boosters (or even on the side of the booster). Surely that drives booster sales, as the casual booster buyer can see what characters are in the set and keep buying more boosters in an effort to get a favourite character.

They actually did that with a few sets. Not entirely sure why they stopped.

Admittedly, there are more characters in a set now... but the boosters are bigger too...

Isn't the point of keeping the set list a secret was to surprise people when the set comes out? I'm perfectly happy with a mystery set list that isn't revealed until the release date. It makes it more exciting, because we don't know what we're getting.

And... Blackest Night, Brightest Day, and Jonah Hex doesn't count, as they're not boosters.

I'm just saying, I can't afford to fork out so much money if I don't at least know who I'm getting. I'm happy to be surprised with the sculpts, dials and card elements (if any). Just give me anough information so I can make an educated decision on what I'm buying. I don't think that's too big an ask, yeah?

But if you wait a day after the release date before buying anything, you know the entire set when people post their booster pulls here. Then you know what you are buying.

There will be complaints that there shouldn't be a set list at all because people would be tempted to look at it in 3... 2... 1...

I think the vast majority of consumers like to know what they're buying, instead of being expected by the supplier to just put down cash sight-unseen. :ermm:

I've never made that sort of purchase if it was at all avoidable, and clix boosters are no different.

I found when Heroclix (and Horrorclix) contained cardboard elements that there was still a heap of surprise with flavor even if you knew the setlist.

I think if they spoiled the set list but didn't preview all the dials there'd be plenty of surprise. Also not announcing the Chase figs would also bring the surprise element.

Exactly. I don't need to see all the dials, but I would at least like to know what characters are in the set so that I can make a more educated guess as to how many boosters I'll be getting.

i think you're in luck for WoS, those of us going to GENCON will get to play the booster draft, i imagine all the figures will be on the list sometime by the end of friday, i will personally try to post as many dials as possible via my ipad WHILE im on the game floor. (in between games of course)

and when i get back to my room? that's right, more posting and hc realmsing...

i mean.... that is of course if i dont meet a nice girl...
