What "themes" are most effective in tournament play?

300 or 400 points

ex. x men
Avengers

all female
all male
super heroes
super villains
cosmic teams
"doctor" teams
etc

I'd personally give the strongest team to the Avengers, free move, cheap taxis' probability control, heavy hitters and pretty good ranged fighters. overall, I'd say they are the strongest.
