Clearly the bit about the old Jonah Hex being "The pinnacle of efficiency" got lost somewhere, because compared to the old, this one is garbage. The old Jonah Hex was a bare bones package of running shot, willpower, and ranged combat expert that worked amazingly well. WK had anopportunity to build on that old formula and... well... you get Running Shot RCE and Willpower alright. The running shot will almost never see use on this dial, and if it does, it's not doing much. Yes, the old Jonah running shotted for 2, but next turn he followed up with RCE for 4. The enddial BCF is handy I suppose, but with 8 attack... ouch. After click 2 Sharpshooter is officially useless. The Wanted Poster trait is thematic and helpful, but Jonah's otherwise low(for the cost) attack just hampers him. Bad play WK. I might get the pack to put the sculpt on the old Jonah Hex and get a cheap enhancer... Maybe.

I'll buy and use him, but I would have done a lot of things differently given the choice. A bit better defense, obviously, would be nice. More importantly, where's his Indomitable? Where's his click of ten speed with a special power that gives his Transporter to represent his horse? Where's his special power to represent his mystical abilities? Where's his Mystical keyword? His sculpt is nice, but his outfit it way too clean. I might have to dirty mine up a bit so he looks like a real cowboy.

For 65 points you could use this turd or Atom from the BN starter set.

Am I just not seeing it? This guy just seem like poop for his points. I will stick with my 46 point guy.

If there's only one guy worth fighting on the other team, he can be okay for his points, I guess. With his Sharpshooter ability, he's a pretty good sniper. When (if) he get's that Running Shot/Willpower, he can run around and even use it like Charge (Assuming Sharpshooter lets you do that) to get close up to his bounty and set him up for some Blades/Willpower at the end.

I know I'm just dressing up a turd, but he's not totally unusable.

I want a new comic book Hex.

I want one that has the Sharpshooter and Imdom.

6 range, 2 arrows, 2 clix of runningshot with 2 damage, 1 click of Reflexs and end with toughness. Id give him 1 click of Energy Explosion to represent either dynamite or unloading his six shooter in a group.

I like the last click blades though.

Maybe the Starlord power too.

Oh, these Jonah Hex clix are so pathetic, far from usable

I'm going with the CD version and adding Elite Sniper over this new incarnation for 1 point more (66). Had he been 40-45 points, he'd be a great addition to Soldier theme teams. otherwise, he lack of mobility up front cripples him, despite his trait. V Hitman the borrowing Ultimates or Superman Ally TA is a better investment. I'll still pick up the pack, if only for Lilah and the novelty factor these figures will have a few years from now.

OK. I'll bring the positive. The 300 pt. COWBOY team. The Jonah Hex Pack + 2 Stix (V) + Vigilante + Two Gun Kid=295 pts. YEEEEEHAAWWWW!!!

Great sculpt. The sculpts, plastic and paint in this pack are all great.

He's not as good as the old one, but he's still playable. Very accurate to the movie.

I think this set is pretty cool in itself but hey the old jonah hex is unique the new is not so way not run both in fact you could run multipuls of both new jonah and quentin but thats just my opinion

I originally looked at him and thought- Ugh! I've played him twice now and he did better than I thought he would. He is not great but he is better than "Ugh!" My philosophy was to take his Wanted Poster ability and save it for a piece I thought I had the chance to hit (or do damage to through lack of reducers) as opposed to just using it against the most dangerous piece or the piece with the highest defense. He turned out to be a hunter of the second line and/or support pieces but it made him far more effective in my humble opinion.

To the people saying he is lame. I played him in a 400 pt game with Lilah. They were completely ignored by the enemy, all the while he's taking 4 damage pot shots on whoever's around. He killed Chun-Li and majorly hurt Ben Grimm.

He's really not half as bad as most people make him out to be. His trait and his range make him a threat to at least one opposing piece. He is a Sharpshooter which helps make up for his lack of move and attack since he ignores opposing figs for LOF. I've played him at least 3 or 4 times and he has performed well for me everytime.
