Reading the FAQ and the Rules listed on wizkids site I came across this and got curious. In the rules it says:

The object cannot travel through blocking terrain, but can go around blocking terrain as long as its movement path does not exceed 10 squares

Which sounds like it can go around a building corner? Is this right? or what does "go around blocking terrain" mean? Is it simply like the vents and stuff up on a building they are talking about?

But then in the FAQ (under Telekinesis(3rd item)) it says:

You must have a clear line of fire to the target of a Telekinesis attack or to the target square of a Telekinesis move.

Which makes it sound like you can't go around blocking terrain since the blocking terrain would block the line of fire I'd guess. Please tell me what I'm missing here or mis-reading.

Thanks.

Okay here we go...

the figure with Telekinesis has to have Line of Fire to both the target opposing figure and the object. The object must be adjacent to the TK figure.

xxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx1
xxxxxxxxx
xAxxxxxxx
xx@xxxxxx

In this example....

Figure A with Telekinesis have Line of Fire to opposing Figure 1.
Object @ is adjacnet to figure A, but does not have a direct path to Figure 1. But can go around Figure A and hit Figure 1 by travelling maximum 10 squares. You actually do have to move the Object token like a figure.

Does this help?
