so, here's another topic for discussion, brought to you by your friendly neighborhood symbiote-man.

here it goes.

which figs do you think are the best that are 60 points or under (this leaves room for those who love to preach the gospel of logan.)


my picks: Bullseye vet-- you're lying if you say he sucks. he is amazing, with the RCE and all. 10 range is tha shiznet

unique elektra -- she's a fixture in all of my teams (save my most recent one) because, face it, she just rocks. an eleven attack with BCF and stealth (the cheapest 11 attacker in the game)

i agree, that bullseye a staple clix, but you forgot to mention Black Panther...

Who doesn't use Black Panther? Quick, deadly... outwitty... his a great cheap figure that does more than just suck up the air...


though some honorable mentions to Boomerang/Hawkeye... Gotta love those long ranged multiple target explosions... who cost less than 60...

Hehe, Controller is just dope, he has MC, SS, toughness etc.
Blizzard is a good fig.
Spiral rules....
Doc Oct is just plain cool with willpower and stuff.
Black Cat is the best PC, she LC, 2 damage.
And Of Course DOOMBOT. Doombots are my favorite taxis :cool:

Well, I think the only folks that you really *have* to use to be competitive are the cheap taxis. Doombots, Vulture, Gold, Wasp, Man-bat, Yellowjacket, Jean Grey, Mandroid.

In that order :)

Other than that, I nominate:

Pyro: Two shot energy explosion plus shield team ability can win you a game in the space of one move.

Rookie Hercules: A *monster* figure for a cheap fifty-four points. Has an almost endless dial, consistently great attack, and solid damage.

Raksor: The best dang Nineteen points in the game. 2 damage, 9 attack, Skrull Team ability for himself and your wildcards...and Energy Explosion. He's *never* not been worth his points.

Quicksilver/Whirlwind: The Flurry Brothers. They can move more than half the board to tie up figures, and the more experienced versions of each can deal out four or even Six(!) damage in one turn.

And I'll second the vote for Experienced Controller. Mind dies, a lot... But If he doesn't, he usually wins the game for me in one move.

offhand, my list for the best under sixty would be the below, although I am sure I am forgetting some key figs...

mandroid armor

well, there's three of them and as per the concensus thus far blackpanther and bullseye made the list. their individual abilities are pretty durn good and effective for their points cost. although I rarely field them together, if at all.

I put the mandroid armor there for the TK and toughness. good to get those slow bricks in place and help tie up the lines.
