MINION: MANIPULATED BY THE GODS: When a friendly character that has the Deity keyword is within 8 squares of Samantha Parrington, actions given to Samantha Parrington do not count toward your available actions for the turn.

So if I have 3 actions for the turn and Smantha is given an action that pushes her onto her 2nd click (her 1rst with said power), I could effectively use 4 actions? In other words, I've assigned 3 tokens allready and then she goes (not possesing the power until after I assign the token). Is this legal?

No because she needs the minion power when you begin assigning her the action. If you don't have the power at the beginning of the action, actions assigned to her count as they normally would and as such you couldn't assign her an action because you have used your three for the turn.

Not in that situation.

You have 3 actions. You use one of your actions. You have 2 left. You now have the ability to gain "free actions" with Sam but she can't make any other actions because she acted already.

Sam is cleared at some point so now on your new turn, you still have your original 3 actions. Samantha makes a close-combat action and attack someone. With a deity 8 or less away that action does not come out of your 3-action pool so you still have 3 actions to use.

I hope that is a little clearer.

Yeah I figured as much, had to ask anyway.
