stealthed?

if a batman team ally is on an EBT, such as chimney, is s/he stealthed? i said no and my pal blew up, "i wouldnt have put huntress there if i knew that!" i told him hell, i ll put her behind the chimney cus you didnt know that...so in general, if you re on top of EBT, you re not stealthed?

and, when and where do i drop off whoever i m carrying if im in SOARING mode and enacting charge against someone 4 squares away...of course, i counted the 1 down to hover and then 4 to charge the guy since i had 10 movement, so when i get to hover, do i drop the guy off or when i arrive at the defender?

No.

The Elevated Blocking Terrain is actually considered clear terrain (even though it has a picture drawn on it in the square).

So, normally, if you are on top of Elevated Blocking Terrain, you will not be Stealthed.

1) You have to drop off a figure in Hovering mode.
2) The figure must be dropped off at the end of your movement.

A figure in Soaring mode cannot carry another figure.

A figure doing the carrying must begin and end it's turn in Hovering mode.

When placing objects at the beginning of the game, you should be able to place on an E.B.T.(elevated blocking terrain). This will allow you to get your stealth(for batman), and not be attacked by anyone but a superman ally. It may sound cheesy, but its a great strategy against firelords, and ultrons.

Now heres an interesting idea I just noticed. Since stealth states(from the march faqs)"A figure with stealth(also batman ally) that is in the SAME square as an object is considered to be in hindering terrain", and you can place objects anywhere on the map. You should be able to place 2 objects adjacent (if the E.B.T. is big enough,i.e. truck stop map). You should now be able to taxie a non-flyer/leaper adjacent to you legally, because they are being dropped in hindering terrain instead of blocking terrain. for example: Assuming my team has the 3 following figs:
a)exp- Ultron
b)rookie-invisible girl
c)any-robin or batman ally(and abilities can cross over)

1)on my placement turns, I place two objects adjacent on E.B.T. (using the truck stop map on purple smaller building)
2)I taxie invis girl with ultron to the E.B.T. which is now hindering terrain and is a "open square" for invis girl to legally occupy.
3) ultron and invis girl are now stealthed and can't be hit by anyone in the game, other than superman allies with ranged combat. The only other way to counter this, is to have a ss flyer/leaper pick up the object( wich brings up the question of how they could do it since they can't become adjacent with Item to grab it) or a ss phaser(flyer helps) grab the object during its move. hss and ss would work also(flyer only), but wow superman is the only charecter to have that combo, and he can see trough stealth anyway.
4)other than range being restricted(can't shoot at grounded figs in this example) this could be a very interesting( and extremely cheesy) strategy.

I'm very curious to see the arguments and stratagies against this. I also would love to hear ideas to improve upon this( a stealthed medic would be cool).

ok, i get the gist of what you're saying, but you're mistaken about one thing...characters with super strength AND leap/climb or flying CAN pick up a light/heavy object on a SINGLE SQUARE OF EBT, because you don't have to be adjacdent to pick it up, you can go IN the square it is in.

as the rulebook states:

"Any time during a character's move action, he can pick up an object in a square he ENTERS or ON AN ADJACDENT SQUARE."

so therefore, putting light/heavy objects on EBT isnt exactly smart, unless you're gonna hide some batman ally there and keep your opponent off that certain roof. id rather place light/heavy objects on EDGES of roofs since LOF is legal there AND you are effectively stealthed!

oh, wait, you re talking about I.Girl and Ultron STAYING on the EBT? i m talking about EBT and objects in general, sans ANY character on it, lest anybody get confused ;-)

if i need to be corrected, do so! i doubt tho...
