Worst luck in the world!!

My kids keep kidding me that I pull the worst boosters ever!
Example 1: During a sealed box game, I had a choice between a Flash box & a Catwoman box. I picked the catwoman and got:
Rookie Brainiac
Veteran Mad Hatter
Experienced Cop
Rookie Checkmate agent

In the Flash box?
Veteran Aquaman
Veteran Hawkman
Experienced Grundy
Unique Superman

Example 2:
Two boosters are left at the store and I have cash for only 1. I look at the boxes and one of them has a "smooshed" appearance, like someone was trying to peek inside. I decide to take the non-smooshed one. The store owner decides to go ahead and open the other one and put in his display case for individual sale. He gives me one last chance to pick which box I want. I stick with my original pick.
When he opens up his box, out rolls the 6-armed Spidey!!!!
BUT, being a nice guy, he gives me the chance to buy the Spidey box (He's feeling like Monty Hall now). Knowing my rep as "Sucky-box picker", I decide to go with the known, rather than the unknown. I take the Spidey box. The owner opens up the other box....Moondragon!!!!!!

He was nice enough to give me the choice of boxes (I did pick Moondragon!)

lol, I havn't even gotten a unique out of a booster yet so don't feel too bad.

I have only gotten one Unique, and that was in a starter. It had Thanos, Vet Sabertoothe, R Jean Grey, Vet Boomerang, Rookie Controller, Rookie Hobgob, Exp. thug, Vet. Skrull Warrior.

All of the booster's I have got have had at least one "pack saver", or a character that makes the pack decent. None of them were Uniques though. They were like Hulk, Ultron, Thor, etc.

an experinced hobgoblin (already had2 and still no other types of hobbie!)

I feel for you. Me and girlfreind both play so we each pick a pack and almost always she gets better.

the secret is to go with a friend and pick out boosters for the other guy. I think it has something to do with the greedy nature of man and Karma. Whenever I pick out my own boosters, I get worst scrubs, but when Someone else hands me a purchased pack, that's when I get uniques. Try it sometime, and post back and tell me the results.
