LE Doc Doom
LE Clay Quarterman (SHEILD Trooper)
V Doc Ock
E Thor

Main Plan: The star player here is Thor, the strategy is go straight for the throat, take out the big guy in one clean hit using something that I call the "Death Star": Thor is in between or within base-to-base contact with Doc Doom and Clay, he attacks, using Doc Doom's and Doc Ock's perplex to up the damage to 6, then have Clay and Doc use the SHIELD ability to up the damage to 8, combine that with the 11 attack of thor, and that's 8 click of damage almost certain to hit, and use Doc Ock to clean up afterwards if there's anything left of the bugger. Once big guy is gone, they break up (Except Thor and Clay) and clean up the riff raff. It hasn't seen tourney play but it's rather effective and has taken down a 400 point DC team. Let me know what you guys think.

it's not a bad team. i see a couple problems:

1. seems overly dependent on just one fig, who's primary power (his invulnerabilty) can be easily outwitted. the idea of lining up all your figs for the good shot seems kinda hopeless to me. i mean, sure, you could perplex from a distance and then have thor carry the shield guy with him as he running shot's, and that would be 7 damage. that's not bad, i guess.

2. going along with the first point of the loss of invulnerability equals the loss of thor, any stealthed figures would stall your strategy. you couldn't running shot them. and while you could taxi the thor with the dr.doom, that would make doom's mastermind useless and leave him vulnerable to taking damage too.

i'm very interested in the configuration of the 400 point team you took down with this one. i don't doubt your team does very well, just that it's got some pretty big holes to cover (but then, what do i know? i seldom play with any kind of damage reduction and never with less than 7 figs on a 300pt team....so our styles are completely different).
