Ok so recently I aquired a SI chase Spider-woman. I am trying to complete my Brave and the Bold collection. I have notice there hasn't been many inquires about the chase. I have had other figures fly away. Mostly SI Nick Furys, Hot Thor and Lokis and Hot Captain America. I know some people do chase for chase and some do price vaule. Either way I have not had any offers or negoations. Standard trading rules apply with all my trades. There is no exception. So now my thoughts are am I too low of itrader rating to trade a chase? Is Spiderwoman just not a sought after chase? I am aware that the Black Lanterns are very sought after right now. I figured I would hit a collector who happend to pull an extra or a Marvel fan over DC. Do I need to not wait for someone come to me? Do I need to post my collection too? That way people will fell more comfortable about making offers. I am just hoping from advice from people who have posted a thread with a chase and thoses who hunt down trades in threads.

Problem is you've stipulated that you'll only trade the Spider-Woman for a BatB Chase.

Odds are most players who have a BatB Chase they're shopping around either already have or don't want Spider-Woman.

Open things up. Give people a chance to offer a cumulative value from your other wants. You may see a better response.

hmm that's interesting. My goal is to get those black lantern chases. I was hoping she would at least peak some interests and get the ball rolling. I might have to wait for the new WOS and hope I pull a chase to trade.

Another option I recommend is to just sell stuff off and buy the chase you want. I call it "indirect trading."

My advice to you would be to make a few trades to build up your iTrader rating until you've got enough to run a sale or an auction. You've got some good stuff on your lists, so building up enough to buy the Chase you want may be the best approach.

Well, pricewise Spiderwoman is going for $20 less than the lowest Black Lantern Chase right now on ebay. A lot of people here do dollar value so you might have to sweeten the pot for it. Also consider Spiderwoman is an older and not as sought after Chase piece. She's not a comic central piece or popular piece like Crisis Superman, AA Batman, or Blackest Night Chases. Bottom line, you'll probably have to add some SRs to the pot to get a chase out of her.

Spider-woman is a great figure in itself, but given that her and Invisible Woman were the only 2 chases from that set there were that many more of them to go around versus the supposed 500 of each BL out there now.

Value-wise the BL chases on the Realm seem to be anywhere from $70 - $100 as opposed to Spider-woman is more $40 $50 range.

Good luck in your search.

If I remember correctly I think your thread asked to trade your chase for another chase. Spiderwoman will get you a chase but not one from the BatB. Another problem is that a lot of people already have the Spiderwoman.

Don't fret, you should just try hard and often and you will get the trade.

See I was wondering if I phrased it wrong. I wanted spider woman to be in negoations for a Black Lantern but I really didn't know how to phrase it at all.

My only advice is this. If that is your main reason to have a trade thread open then open a thread that says. Have : Chase and SRs Want: Batb Chase

Say that you are looking for the following chases in order of how much you want them and you have the following to offer. Just make sure you have the chase figure at the top of your list so people can see it.

I don't think the offers will come rolling in but you would get better looks.

Well, like many are saying, she is going for about $40 on ebay. I myself have one already, but wouldn't mind having two of her (she is a pretty decent fig). I can offer high end SR like Superman Prime for her.

Thank you for the offer, but I actually have a superman prime.

I think Phantalien and Immortal_Raven are right on the money with their advice.

List it as
"Have: Spiderwoman chase and SRs Want: BatB Chase"

Then if that doesn't work (which, it might as it sounds like you have good things for trade), the indirect trade route might be what you need to do. I've used that method to get two of the chases so far and am about to use the money i've gained from sales to purchase my third black lantern chase figure. After that I'm going to do the same for the last one. And the kicker is that I didn't have a chase to trade to begin with, so it's been my only option. But it's been working pretty well.

Good luck man.

All of you have been great help. I will probablly be asking how to sell properly. I will wait until my rating goes up. I have two trades in the work.

Yeah, you'll have to get a few more trades in before you can sell anything. But those two trades you're working on will get you pretty close to what you need.

And you can always go through a third party if you need to when trading/selling the chase if you're anxious about having any problems. Of course I'm sure by now you've learned who some good folks are to deal with.
Normally I try to stick with dealing with people I have previous experience with or who have a great reputation around the realms. So far no problems.

Yeah I really like the realms. People here have been so nice in trades. I have only one so so trade. It seemed like a simple mistake. I have actually just posted my new trade thread thanks to your guys advice. I have also put my collection in my blog to see if that might help a little bit.
