Doesn't any else realize that the mandarin is almost surley in the set as Iron man's arch enemy. I can't really think of anyone better or who makes more sense

you are most likely correct...

by the way why do you bring this up was someone not believing you previously or something

Iron Man and Mandarin should indeed be arch-enemies. Then again, history doesn't guarantee this will be so.

Swamp Thing vs Arcane
Spider-Man vs Doc Ock
Captain America vs Red Skull
Nick Fury vs Baron Strucker
Superman vs Brainiac

Yeah, it could be the Ghost or something.

There is a possibility that it could be CD? Since the Pineapple has been right so far. CD is one of his major enemies. It still could be Man. But I would give equal oppertunity of each of them.

Mandarin surely is who it is, but alot of people could fit given the clix rules for being an AE (come on HOBGOBLIN? basically if you fought more than once, you might be an arch enemy!)
Spymaster Ghost CD Titanium Man, Iron Mongor, all good. Mandarin= teh best!

The all-powerful pineapple man says there are two options, Crimson Dynamo and Mandarin. The common sense guy tells me it has to be Mandarin. Really, there is no one else it could be.

It probably is CD, since in my opinion they do kind of mismatch arch enemies. Spiderman should have had Green Goblin, Doc Ock, or even Venom (Venom wouldn't really work though since they do work together from time to time to stop Carnage). Professor X and Magneto shouldn't have been since they are such good friends and they did work together very well during the secret wars. Same with Thor, Enchantress was a descent pick but it should have been Loki. You could say they don't want to go with the obvious choice, but when picking an arch enemy the obvious choice should be the only one.

I like Mandarin for Iron Man.

I also think Hobgoblin was a good choice for Spidey, roll back the clock to issues 250 or so of Amazing, they were arch-foes for years.

I like the idea of Mandy too. I see your point about Hobgoblin, but go back to 150 and see his real arch nemesis, Green Goblin.
Doc Ock gets my vote for second, then Venom. These guys had/have personal issues with Spiderman, while Hobgoblin was a pest that Spiderman didn't like because of not knowing if an Osbourn was in the suit, so it still went back to Green Goblin.

While I too think it'll be Mandarin, I had a thought (surprising as that thought is).

Madame Masque. To attain Arch-Enemy status, her credentials are: battling Iron Man, battling Iron Man successfully, seduce Tony Stark, find out Tony Stark was Iron Man, shoot unarmored Iron Man, and put Tony Stark in the hospital to fight for his life.

Man, that Tony is like a chest wound magnet. :)

Technically there's no reason Spider-Man can't still have Green Goblin as an arch enemy. It would jsut mean that Green Goblin and Hobgoblin wouldn't be able to be fielded on the same team. And, forgive my infamiliarity with the details of Spider-Man history, but were they ever active during the same time period? Mightn't the Green Goblin have a grudge against Hobgoblin for stealing his schtick if through some turn of events they happened to be?

Personally, I think They should've just painted the Rookie Hobgoblin green (I know they're different people, but they're close enough game-wise), and Veteran Robin should've been Nightwing. That sorta thing would've allowed them to fit more characters into the sets.

I love cheap shots! LOL!! And I'll have another shot, barkeep!

My vote is for Titanium Man because Mandarin is so obvious and thus not WKHC form...

Not really if they did an R E V of him then I would say R and V will be an AE base but E will have the traditional black base. For all the time he had helped him fight Carnage, Styx, and Stone.

Well, take a look at the front page and it's .... Crimson Dynamo!

And seeing as he doens't have a colored base we now know he's out of the running as Iron Man's Nemesis.

Will probably be Mandarin.

and his AE is... Toucan Sam!

Not being a big Iron Fan, I wouldn't know CD from DC's Red Tornado. I at least know Mandarin, and hey, didn't Mandy fight Wolvie in Acts of Vengeance? So they should be AEs too!

Seriously, as a general note, doesn't "arch" mean "supreme, highest"? So really you should only have one ARCHenemy. And for Spidey, Hobgoblin just aint it. Venom gets my vote there, for the "he's a darker reflection of me" factor. He's Peter's most personal nemesis.

Xavier and Magnus, yes of course. Oh but wait, they did team up to save Gabrielle Haller from Strucker... who cares?

Thor and Echantress? Nope. Amara gives him fits, but so does Hela, etc. Loki serves no other purpose in the Marvel Universe than to be Thor's punching bag.

Wolvie and 'Tooth, yes. DD and Bullseye, duh. Batman and Joker, sure. And so on.

I'd like to see Apocalypse and Cable with AE bases.
