Dimensional Rift Scenerio-Team Needed!!!

My friend and I have decided to try one of the scenarios for our next match instead of the normal points game. I'm having trouble coming up with a viable team and need some help. Should I just go with a normal 300 point team and not worry about the D.Rift's effects or should I create a team specifically made for this scenario? I'd considered conbining LE kirk langstron with a V sabertooth but that's as far as I've gotten. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Is it the one with the rift that grows wider and more powerful? Use sentinels. They are immune to effects that simulate knockback. Otherwise I wouldn't worry. Last tourney I ran the players destroyed it in one round on round one!

We played this scenario last weekend and the technique that turned the tide of battle was telekenisis. It was a 3-way match and one guy was using Darkseid and V Firelord. He based my buddy's force which included Jean Grey. Next turn she telekenisis Darkseid into the void completely killing an untouched Darkseid. I played it again later with my brother and used V Magneto much the same way. Better yet you could use them both for serious TK advantage.

*PS sure we could have destroyed it, but figured that took all the fun out of playing the scenario. BTW, what defense does the rift have when you attack it, the scenario page the judge of the event ran off didn't have one. We just rolled 3 dice which made its Defense 15 which worked out good.
