Hey all. I was on TalonMCs site yesterday, and downloaded his sceanrios for the Infinity Gems and Cosmic Cube, which look very cool and Im definately looking forward to playing them in the future. Using his basic model, Ive created 2 other very basic scenarios, which I feel could be alot of fun, but need alittle help in the fleshing out department. Please feel free to take a look, see what you think, and any advice or suggestions about either one as always would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
THE CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS
Goals:
Using one figure at a time, defeat as many of your opponent’s figures as possible.
Location:
Any
Game Setup:
Assemble your team as normal, keeping it a secret from your opposing players.
Place one, and ONLY one, figure on the field according to the normal rules for figure placement
Game Rules:
Each player’s starting figure must battle and attempt to KO as many opposing figures as possible, before it itself is KO’ed.
When a players figure is KO’ed, he may choose another one from his “hidden” team, and place it on the field, according to the normal rules for starting figure placement.
This newly placed figure cannot make an action until the turn after it is first placed on the field, but also cannot be the target of an attack until such time as well.
Continue doing so until either you have no more figures on your team to place on the board, or until your figure is the sole one remaining.
At this point, each player will total their opposing figures point costs that they have KO’ed, including the sole remaining figure’s point cost, for that player. (If the player with the last remaining figure still has unused figures on his team, those point costs are counted as well)
Victory:
The team who has the highest point cost of opponents KO’s wins.
THE SECRET WARS
Goals:
Choosing figures from a specific grouping, defeat your opposing team(s) and claim the Beyonder’s prize.
Location:
Any
Game Setup:
Create your force as follows: (Pick your figures from 1 of the following 3 teams. If even numbers of people are playing, the X-Men and Marvel Heroes team may be combined).
Marvel Heroes: Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man, Wasp, Hawkeye, Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic, She Hulk, Thing, Thor
X-Men: Cyclops, Magneto, Professor Xavier, Rogue, Wolverine, Nightcrawler
Marvel Villains: Kang, Klaw, Ultron, Doctor Octopus, Dr. Doom, Enchantress, Titania
Note: these are the figures each team has to choose from. He will NOT automatically get all listed above per team. The normal Team Point Cost rule is still in effect.
Place figures from your team on the field according to the normal rules for figure placement.
Game Rules:
No duplicate figures may be on the same team (only 1 version of Thor, 1 version of Magneto, etc.)
Victory:
The team with the highest point total of KO’ed opposing figures wins the game.
Now I think these are pretty good for a basic little scenario, but they dont exactly have alot of meat to them. Any advice on how I could flesh these out some would be great. Thanks.
