Hello
Somebody ask me a question about Siphon Power and I'm not sure I give him the right answer.
Siphon Power
Choose a character.
This character has the following team ability instead of any team ability for team symbols printed on its base:
Once at the beginning of each player's turn, this character may choose and use on that turn any team ability that any figure on the battle map possesses. This team ability follows all other rules for the wild card team ability.
Emphasis' mine.
Here's the issue :
I know that a wildcard cannot use a TA that the character using Siphon Power is borrowing, because this character doesn't possess it.
BUT the character with Siphon Power actually possess the "Siphon Power" team ability : the feat clearly say "this character has the following team ability", and "has" is the same as "possess".
In the previous rules, before the new ATA ruling, it was clearly stated that a wildcard couldn't use a TA gain via a feat. But in Blackest Night this mention has disapeared.
So I wonder : If I play two wildcards, one of which has Siphon Power played on it, can the other wildcard use the team ability granted by Siphon Power ?
I hope I'm clear.
