Help with a 400 pts team

So I have tournament in a week or so in which you build a 400 point team based around a team keyword (avengers, jla, etc !) I thought of going in with either :

A) Illuminati team consisting of SI Dr Strange 149 pts, SI Namor 150 pts and Mr Fantastic 100 pts from the FF Starter set

or

B) Sinestro corps with Sinestro Crisis with Brilliant Tact 166 pts, Arkillo 126 pts and Lyssa Drak with Brilliant Tact 92 pts as well.

Any help on which would be better ?

I really Like the Marvel one aside from Mr. Fantastic......Because of that I think the Sinestro Corps has better synergy together. SO they get my vote.

Strange/Namor/Fantastic is easily the better team. Sinestro is an awesome figure, but his attack values are lacking. And if he's 1/2 your team, he better be hitting.

Go for your first idea. Nothing quite as nice as 2x perplexing up Namor's damage and flurrying.

I find this to be true as well, however Sinestro's Perplex helps alot in this aspect. Also with 2 Brilliant Tacts, not only is Sinestro attacking with a possible 12attack with 3 dmg and Psychic Blast, but Arkillo is getting Tk'ed to attack with an 11attack, 3dmg with Charge, Flurry Exploit Weakness and Super Strength. On top of that, Lyssa Drak gets a nice +2 defense. I think the Corp team will chew the Illuminati team up and spit them out.

Yep. Especially if you can roll well! 2 people with +2 perplex...nice!

Agree with this. The Sinestro Team has a lot of options and those Brilliant Tactitians are going to come in handy.

Would any of you go with different options with these teams ? Different feats ? Otherwise, I think with good positioning, Sinestro keeping back and doing running shot and perplexing arkillo, my Sinestro corps team would beat the Illuminati team.:)

I think your Illuminati team is really good. Like others have pointed out, the +2 from Reed makes the other two scarry good. Don't forget that Strange can pick off stealthy folks for you from range and you can boost that DV with Mr. Fantastic. 10 range, 11 attack for 5 damage = goodbye hiding outwitter or stealthed sniper. In fact, I'm looking forward to playing this team next time there is a 400 pt tournee. Thanks.
