View Full Version : question about Rogue's Steal Energy power
This came up in a game I was playing last night, so I thought I'd ask here. If one pushes Rogue while on her Steal Energy power to attack someone and is successful, which click is supposed to happen first? We decided that it would cancel each other out, b/c she still had Steal Energy on her next click, but what if she was on her last click of Steal Energy? Would the push damage happen first, thus disabling the Steal Energy, or would it still cancel each other out since she hit the attack while she still had Steal Energy? Thanks for anyone's help.

If I remember right, the push click doesn't happen until the attack resolves, so the steal energy would happen first, then the push click.
I'm fairly sure that I've seen that push damage is always the last thing you do after all other powers/effects are resolved. So Rougue would get a click of healing, then take a click of push damage. Ending up where she began even if on her last click of steal energy.

Rulebook:
Pushing
If you give an action (other than pass) to the same character on two consecutive turns, that character takes 1 click of damage after he resolves his current action.
