I have a question about power barrage:
"If a character posseses a standard attack power and uses it, after the action resolves, it may make a close or ranged combat attack as a free action, but modifies its attack and damage values by -1 for the attack."
2 Questions:
1) can this feat be used when you activate Super Strength.
Example 1: you move towards a figure and use super strength to pick up an object: can you now make a free attack? If so think of shazam and black adam with a generator (they use hypersonic to attack with the generator, then make a 0 move action to pick back up the generator which activates this feat and allows them to attack again. Hypothetically they can attack an infinate amount of times doing this. It becomes an infinate loop)
2) What if you use a movement action that activates a standard attack power: will this feat kick in. Example Fire and Ice on click 3 take a Running shot and activate psychic blast. Will the feat then kick in after the resolution of the psychic blast.

Yes it can be used. No it wouldnt be infinite because the move and the root attack happens during the HSS ACTION and the Free Attack doesnt happen until AFTER the action resolves.

I would think so.

I'm just going to repaste my answers from your other post...

The answer is no. There is an errata coming.
2) What if you use a movement action that activates a standard attack power: will this feat kick in. Example Fire and Ice on click 3 take a Running shot and activate psychic blast. Will the feat then kick in after the resolution of the psychic blast.
I assume you mean movement power. Most standard movement powers that allow attacks activate from a power action. (Not movement/move action.) That said the answer is no. There is an errata coming.
The answer is no. There is an errata coming.
Interesting, but if they some how intend for this to work with Super Strength but not work with Super Strength used during HSS they will need to write a novel.
Picking up an Object with SS is always a FREE Action.

Based on what I understand to be the upcoming errata, Super Strength in all forms will not activate Power Barrage.

There was a very long thread about this. I believe it was determined there would be errata to make it a non-free standard attack power. However, I don't remember and am waiting for the errata.

We will see. This is likely to get very messy.
They really need to avoid the term "USE" when writing SPs with the very small exception of an SP that lets you "USE" standard power(s).
Advanced Discussion side bar:
Im not completely convinced that you Cant "USE" Super Strength even if there are no Objects left in the game.

I did a search I think NormalView mentioned something, but I got no indication of what that erratta would actually entail....

Thanks for saving me the search; my web-fu is tired today. ;)

This thread at post 62 (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280261&page=5).
I still really hope they stay away from the "FREE/NON-FREE ACTION" wording and just be really explicit.
They would be better of just spelling it out as "when you use... BCF, EE, Quake, Incap, PsyBlast, Smoke Cloud, Steal Energy, or TK".
If they want to exclude Combos then they will be better off saying..."This feat can not be when you gave this figure a POWER Action."
Why make an errata for a card that only exists online? Rebuild the card!
Of course, getting cards up in the first place seems stunningly difficult...

nbperp has indicated that he has some control over the Player's Guide so it's easier for him to make a change in the Player's Guide than to get WizKids to issue a whole new card.
