If someone rolls a crit hit against a charecter with impervious and then the said charecter rolls a five or six does the crit hit still hit? According to the rules a critical hit is guarenteed to hit but the impervious power is said to cause an attack to miss. So is the attack then just simply reduced by two? This just doesnt seem right.

We came upon this when an opponent made a successful attack of 6 against my Our Worlds at War Superman. Instead of argueing I just took the hit and reduced the attack by two. This indirectly caused my to lose the game, so I may be a little biased.

If your opponent rolls double sixes to hit your impervious character, you can still dodge it by rolling a 5 or 6. Double sixes does not always hit. Super Senses or Imprevious can stop it.

All double sixes means is that your roll is guaranteed to qualify for a hit no matter what you need. It can still be averted by SS and Imperv. And if succesful, it causes 1 extra damage and cause knowckback like and other doubles roll.
